Someone should raise the cry that "Drill, Baby, Drill" Sarah Palin contribute at least 2 million dollars or the minimum of a second tithe to help BP put some people to work to clean-up the oil spill and insanity that we, Obama, and intelligent Democrats have been saying for years will take place. In case you forgot, this is why Democrats have hedged against off-shore drilling in certain places, and got upset with Dick Cheney's secret meeting with Big Oil in Palin's former State.

Perhaps, now, the ignorance of John McCain and his obstructionist crew will be clearly seen, and they will be forced to admit that a common sense policy about off-shore drilling needs to be sanely considered instead of the nasty, passion-inflamed senseless cry of a publicity-seeking, money-hungry twit shouting "Drill, Baby, Drill."

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, there are no Statesmen in the GOP, and there are none who have a hair's-breath of concern for people. It should be as clear as black Oil on blue Water that the Republicans and their sycophants care only about the profits their corporate bosses make.

So what is the answer for 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2016? There should be not one Hispanic, Black, or college age student vote for a Republican candidate during the next decade. These people need to be brought to their knees at the ballot box. They need to understand that history is made from the bottom up, and that leaders only ride the crest of the wave coming in their direction.

The time is right, and the moment is now, to send out the call for the progressive liberals in America, who love God and love people, to stand for principle and do what is right. Laws are meaningless if they are not based on ethics and morality; and so far, the GOP's ethics and morality lay as clear as an ever-increasing black oil slick in and on blue water. By the way, the sincere GOP Christians who are close to God knew the prophecy of Revelation 16:3. Didn't they? It is clear that "Drill, Baby, Drill" knew it--of that I am sure, since God talks to her everyday.

The Stage is set for 2010

Now that the Democrats have approved a measure for health care reform, the stage is set for us as Black and Brown voters to kick all Senators out of office who vote against the bill. We pay for their health care and give them huge pension funds upon retirement, but they begrudge poor people even the smallest of help. Thus, all Black and Brown voters need to reward them for their service. Kick them out!

Spread the word across every state that come 365 days from now, we will do what the NAACP voters did in 1934. Every Senator--Democrat or Republican--who votes "NO" will get a pink slip and rudely told to go look for another job. Spread the word and let us get voter's revenge for the 12 months of political abuse we have suffered.

People who have no ethics and no morality should have no place in the leadership of this country. These arrogant would-be leaders, who are devoid of human decency, keep lying about what"the American people" want. They have yet to admit that there are 200 million poor and working class Americans who have been abused by twelve years of Republican arrogance and conspiracy.

Here are a few issues for which Republicans will have to give answers in 2010: (1) Did the 5 years of Bush's Iraqi war and the missing billions contribute to the deficit? (2)Did the rape by contractors like Haliburton contribute to America's financial problems? (3)Did the republican conspiracy for no government restrictions on Wall Street contribute to America's economic problems? (4)Did the economy tank under Bush and Cheney, or was it Obama's fault like Michelle Backman, Rush Limbaugh and Michael Steele tell us? (5) Did the Bush tax cuts benefit the country's economy or did it add to the deficit? Did you take money from the Insurance companies for your political campaigns?

A word to the Senate democrats. Do not let Monday-morning armchair politicians delude you that a loss will backfire on Democrats. These people are paid pundits who talk on both sides in order to keep advertising dollars for their firms. They do not live out here in the streets; and they have no idea how the average American struggles to make life for his/her family. Consider this: If the Republicans succeed in killing the health care bill, their victory will be short-lived. So they win the white house and the Congress, but their insurance buddies will fleece Americans. By the end of five years, the Republican Party will be so low in the hearts and minds of the people that they will have to literally go out and pay for votes. The worse thing that can happen to the Republican Party is a Democrat defeat on the health care vote.

Finally, Joe Lieberman has always been a Republican and should get the boot by every honest voter in the state. Even Jews in Florida have been saying it for years now . . . and the time has come.

Republicans Celebrate with Limbaugh Leading the Rally

At 12 noon today the news reported gut-wrenching statistics. The number of American families on food stamps had increased by more than 13% this quarter. The number of families dropping to the poverty line of $12-13,000 per year increased by some 11%. The average income of the 6 million wealthiest Americans earned for them more than eleven and one half times the poverty income ($138,500) so far for the year, while most family incomes dropped below $50,000. I flipped the channel in time to hear Rush Limbaugh blame President Obama.

Limbaugh sneered in his scornful way: "I though Obama was going to take from the rich and give to the poor, so what about the minimum wage? How come he hasn't done this?"
What this Republican hypocrite refused to tell his listeners was that for the past 7 months, the Republicans by conspiracy have blocked every measure brought before the senate. Their actions were so scripted that more than a few well-known Republicans began referring to their leaders as the party of "No!" Limbaugh also forgot to mention that a Republican Congress of 12 years under Bush 43 debated for almost five years to raise the minimum wage $2.00, and they only grudgingly voted for it after the people kicked them out of office in 2006. And even then, the Republicans insisted that the raise should only take effect $1 per year at a time.

Now everyone already knows that Rush Limbaugh is the world's biggest hypocrite, but how could he forget to tell people that for almost 4 or 5 years he was heard railing against a minimum wage increase because it would ruin small businesses. How could he ignore the lack of compassion in the Compassionate conservatism he espoused after he played golf with Bush 41. But what is most damning of all is his callous insistence that Obama, only 7 months in office, is somehow responsible for the plight of the poor, the fraud on wall street, the raping of America's financial system and Republican lack of oversight, the Abrahamoff scandal that sent many Republicans to jail, the Madoff scandal that hurt even foreign countries, and it is all the fault of this black "guy" who was not born in America, and who wants to destroy America, and whom he wants to "fail."

What stench from what stagnating cesspool? Meanwhile, his Republican sycophants, who hope against hope that Rush's 2 million faithful might pick one of them to be the standard-bearer in a new Fascist-type administration, are joyfully exuberant because the public opinion has been defeated in the Finance Committee. They cheer as Limbaugh lead the rally.

Good! So let it be . . . this is a good time to fight . . . and may God defend the right.

Spread the word you students . . . send this across the landscape by word or mouth, and let everyone who is now 16 and over get ready to throw the bums out. Remember, according to the rules, even after they change boundary lines like Tom Delay did in Texas before he was forced to run for cover, a majority wins. This time, let us throw out all Senators who vote against Obama and the public option. They may kill this bill, but let them feel the sting of our shoes as they scramble to look for jobs from the people they want to champion. Let us do in 2010 and 2012 what Americans did in 1932 and 1934. In 1934, they kicked out 26 Senators who had the audacity to defame and denigrate Black people. This time, the Republicans have gone too far. They have shamelessly targeted the poor, the hard-working, and the people who only want a chance to live honorably. And may God defend the right as we fight.

Black & Brown Voters’ Revenge: The Campaign against Anti-Obamacare Senators

Sometime in the summer of 1930, according to historian Kenneth W. Goings, W.E.B.DuBois suggested that members of the NAACP campaign against all Senators who had voted for the elevation of Judge John J. Parker to the U. S. Supreme Court (Goings, 54). At issue was the fact that President Herbert Hoover had nominated Judge John J. Parker, a racist judge, to the highest court in the land. Without even a semblance of remorse for his past opinions, it was clear from court records that Parker had a distinct distaste for Negroes and always ruled against them regardless of the merits of the case before him.

Division within the NAACP was so hot with this issue that Dubois resigned as editor of the Crisis, which increased the power of Walter White as secretary of the NAACP. Robert Bagnall, director of branches assisted by others led the fight against Senator Allen of Kansas, who was one of the pro-Parker Senators. This initiative resulted in the defeat of Senator Allen, and spawned letters of congratulations from NAACP chapters across the country. This set the stage for a shift in the “nonpartisan” attitude of the NAACP, which let them know that the organization needed to adopt a more political attitude. Consequently, as cited by Goings from NAACP branch files G-224, Walter White wrote that senators who voted to confirm Judge Parker be singled out for removal from the senate. He said furthermore: “Our slogan must be: Any Negro is a traitor to his race who votes for any senator who voted for Parker.” (Goings, 59) The following election saw 26 Republican Senators thrown out of office by the NAACP with the help of labor. Black voter vengeance had been vindicated.

The time has come for Blacks in America to go back to 1932, if not to Gary, 1972. Our slogan should be “any black person who does not vote against all Republican Senators and those Democrats who vote against Obamacare should be considered a traitor to his race.” No longer can Republicans claim to be bi-partisan; and no longer should blacks and Hispanics be persuaded by the rankest of disdain and defamation as demonstrated with the vitriolic attack on both Obama and Judge Sotomayor.

The issue is clear, and Republicans have drawn the battle lines in favor of Corporate America. In Republican ideology Insurance companies and the profits of wealthy people are more important than people. These members of the GOP have advocated by their rhetoric that 290 million poor and working Americans should have no say in this country. Every distasteful argument has been used to delay and confuse the benefits of Healthcare reform; and every hateful and insulting caricatures have been displayed with tacit approval. Thus, we are left to conclude that if it is left up to Republican Senators like Grassley of Iowa, the corporations should be left alone to determine our destiny. Maybe some day someone will sponsor a bill to take away free healthcare from Congress persons, reduce their exorbitant pensions, and put them on Medicare.
Almost 40 years ago Black political thought was seriously divided in Gary, and the hopes for a Black Political Party never materialized. Yet, Biblical prophecy makes it clear that black Americans, as descendants or former slaves, are the only ones with the political understanding of the times to know what the nation ought to do. Consequently, it seems that the time has come for Blacks to exact voters’ revenge for all the more than 100 years of political double-talk, denigration, defamation and nastiness of the Republican Party.

Consider the history:

(1) 1866 – The Memphis Police Race Riot in which white policemen murdered 46 blacks, burned down 94 homes, 4 churches, and 12 schools, besides stealing more than $2,000 from the families of black soldiers, and raping 6 black women. It was this massacre that prompted the Republicans to pass the 14th and 15th amendments. But the main focus was so they could use black votes to control Congress.

(2) 1877 – The Compromise of 1877 in which the Republican Party sold out the interests of black Americans into a worse peonage than slavery even though they had given them the right to vote forbidden them to own land, and was capitalizing off that vote. Even so, Blacks voted Republican for 60 years and supported the Republican Party until after the Parker fight.

(3) 1932-34 – Because Herbert Hoover nominated a southern racist, Judge John J. Parker to the U. S. Supreme Court, African Americans switched their voting habits from Republican to Democrat. It was better they said to vote for a known evil than to be stabbed in the back by hypocrite Republicans.

(4) 1948 – Even though Black soldiers returning from WWII where they fought to liberate white people were lynched while wearing their uniforms, Blacks voted in record numbers to elect Harry Truman. History shows that Black votes in key northern states were responsible for Truman’s victory. It was due to the threat of defeat that the Democratic Party adopted a strong pro-civil rights stance.

(5) 1963 – Because Senator John Kennedy made an attempt to console the late Coretta Scott King during the wrongful arrest and imprisonment of Dr. Martin Luther King that African Americans voted overwhelmingly to elect the first Roman Catholic President to office. The 118,000 votes by which Kennedy won were decidedly black votes.

(6) 2000 – Blacks were smarting under the Gingrich’s Contract with America and the hurt began by the Reagan presidency. Clinton had been forced to comply with a Republican-controlled Congress and wound up taking the blame for misdirection in Foreign policy. In addition, the Republican controlled Congress scuttled the debate on Healthcare before it really began. Thus, they were determined to elect Al Gore. The world knows that Al Gore got more than a half million more popular votes than Bush 43, but the Republican juggernaut led by James Baker of the former Bush administration played a scripted political conspiracy to elect George Bush despite the preference of the American voter. In a vote of 5 to 4 across party lines the Supreme Court justices handed the presidency to George W. Bush.

(7) 2004 – Determined to stop the Republican conspiracy to deal fraudulently with black votes, an all-out campaign was waged to ferret out Conservative conspiracies. It became obvious very early in the campaign that the Republicans were facing an uphill battle. To counter an oncoming defeat, Jeb Bush, brother to the candidate, and Katherine Harris, the intimidating Secretary of State, hired a private firm to compile a list of felons, with the express purpose of denying them the right to vote in accordance with Florida Law. The problem is that the felonious Florida felony list contained some 5,000 names of blacks who had never even seen the inside of a court room. The result was that people were systematically denied the privilege granted them by the 15th Amendment of 1868. The distasteful cut of all was that the Bush campaign, advised by James Baker of the previous campaign, settled the matter out of court with a settlement of one million dollars. Unfortunately, as is usually the case, this news was hidden away in the back pages of most newspapers.

(8) In 2008, determined to thwart any conspiracy from any where, every effort was made by Democrats and a multitude of young College and University students to police the polls. Many enthusiasts reported conspiracies by computer manufacturers who programmed computers to tally votes for Republican candidates instead of the Democrats actually chosen by the voters. Despite all the watch-dog tactics, Ohio became a battle ground where some polls closed early, and others did not have sufficient ballots for the overwhelming numbers of voters. Nevertheless, the people elected Barack Obama, the bi-racial son of a white mother and black father.

(9) The immediate onslaught and venom of Conservative talk show hosts, the despicable disrespect for a Black president by Republican leaders, their open call for public disruption of town hall debates on healthcare reform, the subtle subliminal suggestion that it was okay to carry guns to meetings attended by thousands of people, and the open suggestion of another “tea party revolution” clearly demonstrated that the Republican Party does not have the kind of leadership that should be entrusted with any public office. There is not one man among them that has the kind of integrity of which great leaders are made. Any public figure that can sit by and remain silent in the face of the abuse heaped upon President Barack Obama is not worthy to be called a human being much less a leader of people. Common decency and human courtesy demands adherence even to Law and the presupposition that “all men were created equal.”
Because of the foregoing, all Blacks and Browns who vote for a Republican in 2010 or 2012 ought to be ostracized as a traitor to the cause of ‘We the People’.

The bottom line for you, the reader is clear. Unless you take home $250,000 this year, you have no business even thinking about a Republican candidate, because they have no integrity and have no compassion for people who, not only pay their salary, but people who are always left holding the blank checks of the economy. And to blame an Administration or its policies after only 6 months in office is to further demonstrate the callous disregard they have for the truth. Our position is clear: “Let none of us give one vote to a Republican candidate . . . not now . . . not ever!”

Obama Brings it in the Fourth Quarter

The last time I spoke to the President, about 5 months before the election, I was convinced that he had a brilliant mind. I also felt that whether he played chess or not, his was the kind of thought analysis that could set the Republicans up every time they turned around. It reminded me of what I was told the day I entered High School at the age of 10. My mother said to me: "Son, you have to be three times smarter than the rest of them because of the color of your skin. Remember now, if you are just average they will always put you last, and find every excuse to take away any opportunity for success. You may not understand what I'm saying now, but you will."

What the Right don't know is that the President is three times smarter than they are, and has set them up. Having shown the kind of vitriolic, money-grabbing, charlatans that they are, the Republicans find themselves in a kind of quicksand hole that keeps getting wider and wider and wider as they sink lower and lower and lower. Not only has the American public seen that they openly favor corporate profits over people, but even World policy-makers and diplomats now realize that President Obama is light years ahead of any Republican when it comes to statesmanship.

"Oh!" they say, he wastes his time on Healthcare when he should be concentrating on Afghanistan." But no, the others say, he doesn't care about the American people and keeping costs down because he wants to spend more money in Afghanistan, besides, he is a Socialist, Communist, Arab Muslim who was born in another country, and has come here to destroy America. What dribble . . . and what hypocrites!

I heard some diplomat friends say when I was overseas recently that everyone in London and all Blacks and Whites in the Caribbean are hoping that 25.6 million Blacks and 26.1 million Hispanics combine to vote against the Republicans and lock them out of American politics for generations to come. Is that possible? Yes it is! Why? Because Obama has set them up.

The Republicans led by Michael Steele are, as Scripture says, "wise in their own conceits." Those who grovel at the feet of Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Pallin, and Glen Beck are so out of touch that they do not know a few simple facts of life in America. They do not know:

(1) That statistics are showing that the increasing U.S. Population are all below the $250,000 annual level, which means that the poor and working classes are increasing by leaps and bounds every year.

(2) They are so 'smart' that they can't see that the political strength is now in the hands of college-age students who do not want to pick beans and fruit for a living.

(3) That the millions of young people who were between 14 and 17 in 2008 will be of voting age in 2012, and will be less inclined to vote for old reactionary rich people who won't even admit that people are more important than corporations. What?

Good work Mr. President. This is the fourth quarter, let's take it to them. They are so far out in left field, it will take a brand new political coalition to win at the polls. Besides, youth resents being dictated to, and there is not one Republican leader who has a conciliatory spirit--especially not the Wonder Woman from Alaska.

The dirty Republican theives are at it again. The word is that they have paid computer companies under the table to rig the voting machines, which is why dozens of people like the Green Party Presidential candidate Cynthia MCKinney have complained that their votes were switched for Mccain and the Republicans. They are determined to violate the U. S. Constitution yet again. Several dozens of these conspirators should go to jail.

THE PROBLEM: "Straight party voting" on voting machines is revealing a bad
pattern of miscounting and omitting your vote, especially if you are a
Democrat. Most recently (Oct. 2008), a firm called Automated Election
Services was found to have miscoded the system in heavily Democratic Santa
Fe County, New Mexico such that straight party voters would not have their
presidential votes counted.

STRAIGHT PARTY VOTING is allowed in 15 states. Basically, it means that you
can take a shortcut to actually looking at who you are voting for and
instead just select a party preference. Then the voting machine makes your
candidate choices, supposedly for the party you requested.

DO NOT VOTE STRAIGHT TICKET. CIRCLE FOR OBAMA FIRST; THEN CIRCLE FOR YOUR SENATOR; THEN CIRCLE FOR YOUR CONGRESSPERSON IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE TIME. PROTECT YOUR VOTE & LEAVE THE REST OF THE BALLOT ALONE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE TIME.
HOW TO PROTECT THE COUNT against the Straight Party Vote trap:

1) NEVER CHOOSE THE STRAIGHT PARTY VOTE OPTION, because it alerts the
computer as to your party preference and allows software code to trigger
whatever function the programmer has designed.

2) SEND THIS INFORMATION OUT TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN, blog it, root n'
toot it out there to get the word out.

3) ESPECIALLY GET THE WORD OUT TO PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING STATES, which have

in the USA this November. ES&S scanners were involved in examples cited, but
Diebold has also issued a cryptic Product Advisory Notice in 2006 about
unexpected results from certain Straight Party option programming practices.

Transient Campaign Workers Register to vote in Franklin County

Ryan Meerstein is a political operative. As a teenager, he ran races in Pennsylvania, then attended college in PA. He played basketball in college against teams like Otterbein, so he had been in Central Ohio before he got the gig running Bush's 2004 Central Ohio office. He voted in Columbus in November of 2004. Then he left and did more political gigs. He was with the RNC inside the beltway, then worked on a Tennessee senate campaign. During the primaries, he was running a South Carolina campaign for Rudy Giuliani. If he voted for Giuliani in the Primary, he didn't do it in Ohio. Ryan hasn't, according to the admittedly spotty Franklin County voter file, voted in Ohio since he was here working on a campaign in November 2004. He is currently at the head of the McCain campaign in Ohio, working out of Columbus. On Sept. 26 he registered to vote. On Oct. 14, his absentee ballot was received in Franklin County. By December, Mr. Meerstein will be gone again.
Why is it okay for Mr. Meerstein to flit into Ohio every four years, register, vote, and leave? How many McCain staffers have registered to vote for the first time in Ohio during the last two months, and won't be here 30 days after the election? McCain staffers like Paul Lindsay, who arrived from D.C. at the same time as Meerstein and registered in Ohio for the first time on Sept 3. Lindsay registered at the same address as McCain staffer Jason Levine, a New Jersey native and Beltway professional who came before the primaries. Think he's signed a renewal on his lease?
Think about this when you read the stories about how the Franklin County prosecutor has opened an investigation against people who have come from out of state and are in Ohio working and volunteering for "Vote From Home."

They Cheat and Lie and Fix the Machines!

African Americans have long lived with the Republican Party manipulating their votes. We have also known for a long time that most of them are extremely dirty despicable and corrupt politicans, people who would destroy the Constitution in order to keep power even dictatorship if they can get it. So it is no surprize that they cheat, lie and fix the voting machines.

Consider the recent article in the Charlotte Gazette:
WINFIELD - Three Putnam County voters say electronic voting machines changed their votes from Democrats to Republicans when they cast early ballots last week.This is the second West Virginia county where voters have reported this problem. Last week, three voters in Jackson County told The Charleston Gazette their electronic vote for "Barack Obama" kept flipping to "John McCain."

In both counties, Republicans are responsible for overseeing elections. Both county clerks said the problem is isolated. They also blamed voters for not being more careful.
Shelba Ketchum, a 69-year-old nurse retired from Thomas Memorial Hospital, described what happened Friday at the Putnam County Courthouse in Winfield. "I pushed buttons and they all came up Republican," she said. "I hit Obama and it switched to McCain. I am really concerned about that. If McCain wins, there was something wrong with the machines.

"I asked them for a printout of my votes," Ketchum said. "But they said it was in the machine and I could not get it. I did not feel right when I left the courthouse. My son felt the same way.

"I heard from some other people; they also had trouble. But no one in there knew how to fix it," said Ketchum, who is not related to Menis Ketchum, a Democratic Supreme Court candidate. Ketchum's son, Chris, said he had the same problem. And Bobbi Oates of Scott Depot said her vote for incumbent Democratic Sen. Jay Rockefeller was switched to GOP opponent Jay Wolfe.

"I touched the one I wanted, Rockefeller, and the machine put a checkmark on the Republican instead," Oates said of her experience Thursday.She said she caught the mistake, called over a worker in the county clerk's office and was able to correct her vote. But she worries other voters may not catch such a mistake. When asked if she is sure she touched the box for Rockefeller, she said, "I'm absolutely positive."

How can 750,000 Americans who lost their jobs this year stand up and fight with him just because "Change is Coming" to America? What kind of change will he bring when his constituency includes the 6 million rich and wealthy people who own 5 + cars to drive and 7 different homes to sleep in? How can 125 million working Americans stand up and fight with John McCain who has just recently plaigiarized the idea of "change to America" from Barack Obama?

For more than 17 months, Barack Obama has been saying that we ought to stand up and fight for the hard-working American Middle Class, whose jobs are vanishing amid Republican corruption. The difference between McCain's deception and Obama's call is a meaningless rhetoric that John McCain has coined about fighting for "country" when the truth is that it should be about fighting for "people."

The Mccain Campaign, which boasts many nasty-minded folk, think that Americans are so stupid they will not know the difference between "country" and "people." But the Spirit of Truth has already made it plain that we, the people, need to stand up and fight. One hundred and twenty-five million of us need to stand up and fight for truth against these 6 million liars who as snakes are trying to deceive us.

One hundred and twenty-five million of us need to fight against the 6 million rich and shamelessly wealthy people who lie and cheat to keep 98% of this country's wealth and degrade anyone who seek to lighten the burdens of the Middle Class.

We, one hundred and twenty-five million hard working Americans need to stand up and fight against the right-wing dictators who would take away our citizenship rights as wellas our God-given rights for food and shelter. They boast as many as "7 homes" according to Mccain speaking of what he owned while there are homless veterans living on the streets in Miami and Los Angeles.

We, one hundred and twenty-five million hard-working Americans, who do not earn $150,000 a year, need to stand up and fight and vote Democrat to the last man and woman. We need to punish all Republicans and throw the bums out of Congress. For the most part they are con-men who still want to blame Democrats for the filibuster they did in the Senate. The liars blocked every initiative the Democrats tried to enact to benefit the people, but they are so dispicable and devoid of decency that they blame the Democrats. Someone will go to Hell even if they don't go to Jail.

But the last time I checked, 125 million people were way more than 6 million. So,
let's wash these charlatans away from Washington by a Tsunami that will spread all the way across Canada to Alaska . . . and with such a high tidal wave that Putin would be able to see it from his house in Moscow.

This morning I was cleaning out some old files on my computer and look what I found buried among tidbits of wisdom? I found some eviudence that McCain is in deeper trouble than he knows by even invoking the name "Bush." Read it O Faithful and weep for the Religious Right.

This morning I received the shock of my literary life while reading my bible in daily meditation. The effect was so great that I felt compelled to record my discovery. For more than two years (since late 2005 when the Bush Republican Administration went to great lengths to deny that a civil war was occurring in Iraq, even calling upon the Religious Right for its support) the Religious Right, which had stood solidly behind its presidential candidate began to say that they felt betrayed, and were “ashamed” by the Presidential pronouncements. Today, there is a message from the Lord, which has been in my hands for more than 20 years and in Scripture for thousands.

The passage in Isaiah 1:18-20 has become one of the most read passages within Christianity and Judaism for the purpose of calling sinners to repentance. However, I have not heard anyone in 30 years read, concentrate or explain any of the verses between Isaiah 1: 21-31.

“Zion shall be redeemed with judgment and her converts with righteousness. And the destruction of the transgressors and of sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the Lord shall be consumed. For they shall be ashamed . . .” Isa. 1:27-29

The number for the Hebrew word translated “ashamed” is 954, which I promptly looked up in the Strong’s Greek-English Dictionary and Lexical Aids to the Old Testament at the back of my Bible. The word is “Bush" (buwsh = boosh)! Following is the explanation cited word for word for this scholarly research:

954. Buwsh(boosh)-Bush: to be ashamed, to feel ashamed, to be confounded, to make ashamed, to keep waiting, to deceive, to act shamefully; to disgrace. This is a root meaning “to become pale” or “to blush.” When failure or sin occurs, there is a disconcerting feeling, a flushing of the face. The word often occurs in contexts of humiliation and shattered human emotions. It is the feeling of public disgrace. Bush is the confusion, embarrassment, or dismay when things do not turn out as expected. The idea of shame of an utter defeat pervades the mood. Disillusionment and a broken spirit follow (Ezra 9:6; Isa. 1:29; 30:5; Jer. 2:36; 9:19). The opposite meaning is trusting God (Isa. 29:22; Joel 2:26, 27; Zeph. 3:11). There is a strong connotation of guilt (Jer. 6:15; Ezek. 16:63).”

While it is common knowledge that a Hebrew word may have multiple meanings, of considerable interest should be the meanings “to deceive” “to act shamefully” “to disgrace.” In addition, please notice that “it is a feeling of public disgrace” and also that “the opposite meaning is trusting God.” Does this mean that the Religious Right was deceived into supporting this candidate, and subsequently became disillusioned and ashamed? Mine is not to judge or conclude, but rather to report the findings of true research as a “research professor.”

Working women in Iowa are rejecting the Right-Wing Sophistry of McCain’s so-called “maverick,” “barracuda,” or “attack dog” as some refer to Sarah Palin. If this growing attitude is any indication of the national tone, then John McCain’s attempt to deceive 190 million working-class women will backfire upon the GOP. The Republicans have brought a serious economic situation upon us, but are deliberately lying in order to get back in power. They have opened a smelling mess of slime, which degrades everything McCain’s patriotism was supposed to show. The stench of this sophistry demands that some heads must roll from the McCain’s Camp because many White Christian women of Iowa are rejecting the post-convention rhetoric.

Sarah Palin said she told Congress “thanks, but no thanks.” But she took the money anyway. It matters not that Congress may have directed her to use the millions for something else. The point is she took the money; and by taking the money, it is a bold-faced lie to say “I told them thanks but no thanks.” That clever reasoning suggested to the not-so-astute that she gave back the millions offered for “the bridge to nowhere.” But she took the money, she didn’t send it back.

Sarah Palin says she is a Christian-a member of the family of Christ. As such, she must know that the outward appearance of a human being does not reveal what is in the heart. And as a good Christian Sarah Palin should have read the words of Jesus in Matthew 23:28, which says: “Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.”

Sorry McCain, you need to fire the slime ball who is putting out this stuff. The ads stink, and even Republicans are outraged at the Karl Rove-like garbage. Don’t worry . . . God is Just and He will defend the right.

McCain is old . . . and his vision for America is not only reactionary it is looking old more and more each day. Consider this fact. America has only 3% of the world’s oil reserves, but we consume 25% of the world’s output. McCain says every day that only he is “ready to lead” and that he can solve our energy problems by drilling. He charges Obama with not being “ready to lead” and one who talks without action and lacks judgment.

Obama has consistently called for alternative sources of energy to get off the Oil bandwagon, and went out on a limb during the Primaries to say that drilling would save less than a dollar for a tank of gas. John McCain went to town and called Obama all kinds of names saying that he has bad judgment and is not “ready to lead.” But, by his own words and actions, McCain proves that he and his Grand Ole Party (GOP) are just that. Sarah Palin: Hypocrisy or Bigotry?

The day after Sarah Palin basked in the accolades that labeled her McCain’s Barracuda, a notable GOP representative said that she is Presidential material because he saw her eating ice cream with her children and that’s the kind of thing hockey moms like, because it prooves that she likes children and are good with them. The not-so-subtle inference is that all the hockey moms, soccer moms and football moms will vote Republican because Sarah Palin is their Christian role model. Is she? Or would other words like “hypocrisy” and “bigotry” invite a deeper scrutiny to this hockey mom's Christianity?

For example, what gives Sarah Palin the right to attack Barack Obama as though he has never done or said anything of value? Christians don’t do that. Also, it seems that the Christian Sarah Palin does not care that 600,000 people lost their jobs already this year according to today’s figures; but, you know what, Obama cares. It is also evident that Sarah Palin does not care that 290 million Americans make far less than a quarter of a million ($250,000) per year; but, you know what, Obama cares. It seems that Sarah Palin does not care that hundreds of thousands of American children go to bed hungry each night, but Obama cares. Sarah Palin does not care anything about giving billions more to her oil cronies and gouging poor hard working Americans in order to do it, but Obama cares. Apparently, Sarah Palin has a different Bible from the one the rest of us use, because the Word from God’s Son named Jesus was that “inasmuch as you didn’t do it unto the least of these ye did it not to me.” What will Sarah Palin tell Jesus when He judges the world (John 5:22)? Will this Christian mom who admits to being a member of Christ's family say “John McCain made me do it?”

I ask that all true Christians, who know the Son and are filled with His Holy Spirit, to pray earnestly that God would bless Sarah Palin and grant her repentance so that if she makes the White House she would frustrate the conspiracy of those who have planned to make us slaves to a Machiavellian oligarchy. Pray for Sarah, the Christian, to be more gracious and show the kind of class only statesmen and stateswomen have. The kind of class that allows Barack Obama to ignore the pernicious attacks, talk about the issues Americans face, and still refrain from uttering one negative word against McCain’s character.

McCain and the Republicans want power, and everyone knows that Lord Acton’s thought about absolute power and corruption was correct. Sarah Palin and John McCain want the people to forget about the Abrahamoff scandal and his Republican conspirators. They want the people to forget that Halliburton charged us more than $600 for a screw and paid some 6 million dollars to avoid court trials. They want us to forget that the Republicans blatantly lied to keep thousands of Blacks from voting in Florida with a fake felony list, but they settled out of court for a million dollars 2 years later. So it is clear that our Christian mom, Sarah Palin, is Dick Chaney’s replacement, since she was tagged as the best one to control the flow of information in the McCain White House. It will be breathtaking and painfully sad to see Sarah Palin on TV pontificating to the women who were duped to vote for her and MCCain while the soccer moms beat their heads trying to figure out what to cook for starving children.

But have no fear, the intelligent Sarah Palin, who has cornered the market on all that is good and nice, is set to follow McCain and break a few dishes in Washington. But what hypocrisy? Out of his own mouth this so-called maverick acknowledged voting with Bush and for Bush’s policies 90% of the time. Does this mean that the 10% earned him the title of “maverick?” And does this mean that he and Sarah Palin will reform Washington enough so that 290 million of us working people will get a fair share of America’s pie? If not, is it bigotry? Or is it hypocrisy? Or is it both? Only Sarah Palin can answer that question because she is the new kid on the block with all the answers, especially since she has never been this way before. Even so, come Lord Jesus and bring the light which needs to shine in this dark place; or better yet, will all Christians who like TRUTH please stand up?

No-One can Reform the GOP!

Sarah Palin to reform the Republican Party? That is the worst hoax yet that the GOP wants to foist upon ignorant Americans.

Even God has been trying for the last 12 years to send them a message. And even one who claimed to have an inside track with all the help of the so-called Compassionate Conservatives plus starry-eyed Evangelicals failed miserably. That Born-Again One failed so badly that not only did he not reform the GOP but allowed the messiest of scandals yet to occur on his watch. Abrahamoff might be in jail and the American may have forgotten, but his cronies are still running around at large. And by the way, by God's standards, someone should still go to jail for all of the lies and the deliberate misleadings. How quickly Americans allow one slight of hand like Mccain's quick apologies and his campaigns' kitchen-sink strategy followed by saint-like denial of the obvious to dupe them into a sophorific slumber.

Good Luck Sarah! Unless you know the Creator of this Planet, who has a Son named Jesus, and unless you quickly and sincerely champion the cause of poor people making less than $250,000 per year, you may be heaping coals of fire upon your own head. God had Elijah who stood against Ahab and Jezebel, and you can be certain that He has someone now.

Tonight I hope that I can listen to Barack Obama's Speech without tears. For 24 years I have been looking for the one to replace Martin King, Jr. and it had to be 40 years as we find in Old Testament Biblical typology.

Below I share the Biblical Prophecy again so that those who oppose Obama may know that they could be fighting against God.

I. Jacob’s Prophecy
A. Issachar’ Prophecy (Genesis 49: 14-15)
1. Before Jacob died, he was moved by the Spirit to prophesy about the future of his sons.
2. The twelve disciples Jesus chose mirror the twelve tribes of Israel—since He was the New Israel.
3. Thus, the names of the twelve tribes written over the twelve gates of the Holy City presupposes that even black people who make it to Heaven will have to enter through one of those gates. So the theological question remains: “Which gate fits the typology for Black People?”
4. The prophecy about Issachar demonstrates quite clearly that Blacks are numbered by God in the tribe of Issachar.
5. Jacob prophesied that Issachar will be forced into slavery by their brethren (the other 11 tribes), and will be forced to carry two heavy burdens while they engage in the agricultural work.
6. Those two burdens suggested by the Hebrew and its cognates are “high rents” and “taxes.”
7. But because he is burdened down with these encumbrances, and forced to labor in the fields, Issachar is too tired to fight and contents himself to “bow his shoulder to bear, and become a servant unto Tribute (task work)” because he saw that the rest was good.

B. Blacks in America
1. History records the “forced” enslavement of Blacks in the Americas.
2. Their white brothers forced them to do the agricultural work, but still burdened them with high rents and taxes or tributes in the sharecropping system after slavery was abolished.
3. Because the task work or gang labor was from before sun-up till after sun-down, Blacks were too tired to carry forward a successful resistance to that injustice, and contented themselves to bow down until God raised up a ‘Moses’ in Martin King.
4. But just like the prophecy on Issachar’s experience in Israel, so the historical record of Blacks mirror the Biblical typology.

II. Barak’s Victory (Judges 4: 3-5:15)
A. Winning the War
1. The next time the Bible mentions Issachar is when he moved from being a slave to becoming a soldier.
2. God’s people were fighting for their lives, and God moved upon Deborah, a prophetess and a judge (counselor) in Israel to go to Barak (same name) and encourage him to lead the fight to save the nation and the people.
3. Barak hesitated (Judges 4:8) but agreed to go if God’s prophetess would go with him to battle.
4. The bible says that Deborah arose and went with Barak (v.9) and that he called Zebulon and Naphtali, armed soldiers of war to go up with them. (I do not know if this reference is to Michele) but notice that Bible does not mention that Barak called out Issachar to fight. However, all through the wilderness wanderings Issachar is always encamped somewhere between Zebulon and Naphtali, with three tribes on each of the four-sided encampment.
5. Nevertheless, when the war is won, Judges 5:15 says that “the princes (leaders) of Issachar were with Deborah; even Issachar, and also Barak:”
6. The implication here must be that even though Issachar gets no credit or recognition as men of war, soldiers if you please, they are instrumental in the battle.
7. The proof of this is seen in the last clause of Judges 5:15, which says that “he (Issachar) was sent on foot into the valley.” The importance of this is only seen in American History and the bravery of men like the 54th Massachusetts (portrayed by Denzel Washington in the movie Glory, and Company E of the 4th U.S. Colored Infantry at Ft. Lincoln, District of Columbia).

B. Recognition & Medals
1. Just like in the Bible, Blacks who moved from being slaves to becoming soldiers fighting for America received no recognition for anything they did. In fact, President Bill Clinton was the first of the modern Presidents to award, posthumously, medals to seven of the Tuskegee Airmen who hundreds of thousands of lives. The last living one was from the State of Iowa.
2. The importance of Judges 5:15 is seen in how the black soldiers, who were former slaves, were sent over the mountain and into the valley in the dead of night to destroy the Confederate guns, which were massacring white Union soldiers trying to open the Road to Richmond, Virginia.
3. Some 536 or more of them were slaughtered by the big guns, but every time the standard-bearer fell another black picked it up and pressed forward with a rallying cry until, in the light of day, they stood atop the hill victorious and had opened the Road to Richmond. This was the Battle of Chafin’s Farm. But just like the Bible gives credit to only Zebulon and Naphtali for risking their lives in the fight (5:18), so in U. S. History, the textbooks are silent about the sacrifice and bravery of the former Black slaves turned soldiers. They got no recognition and no medals.

III. Political Savvy (I Chron. 12:32)
A. The Nation Is Deeply Divided
1. Israel is deeply divided. David is King in Hebron ruling the two tribes that eventually become known as Judah (the Jews). The other ten tribes are resisting his rule, even though God swore that he was the chosen one.
2. We meet Issachar again, but this time he has moved from being a slave to being a soldier, and now is a politician with “understanding of the times.”
3. The bible says that “the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do” were all under the command of their leaders, or princes, or brethren, which numbered 200.
4. The phrase understanding of the times in the Hebrew can only mean “political understanding.”
5. Israel was deeply divided, and Issachar sensed that the best political move was to unite the entire nation behind David with David as King since he was chosen by God.
6. There were those who resisted God’s choice, but Issachar, being the only ones with the political savvy and the knowledge that the present course was too dangerous for the nation, brought the food and drinks (I Chron. 12:40), convince Zebulon and Naphtali to help them, and united the others to join their cause.
7. Their solution to the problem was to make David King over all Israel (12:38) and they came together with one heart to do just that.
8. The typology here is too great and too serious to miss or to discard in a flippant manner; and while no-one can state with absolute assurance that the prophecy speaks as set out, one thing is certain. Issachar started out as a slave. He became a soldier. And the children of Issachar emerged as the only ones in Israel with “understanding of the times to know what Israel ought to do. (I Chron. 12:32)

B. Who Has the Political Answers
1. If the imagery of Genesis 49 is correct and the typology is sound, then that of Judges 5:15 must follow in the continuum.
2. And if Judges 5:15 points in typology to African American slaves who fought in America’s wars trying to get whites to change their image of Black people, then I Chronicles 12: 32-40 has greater significance for this time.

IV. Conclusion

Please draw your own conclusion after the facts are in, and while it may seem that the references to Deborah pre-shadowed Oprah, I can only say that in Judges 6:11, when Israel was again beset upon by the Midianites, the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon and sat under the “Oprah tree.” But the reference may very well be about Michelle Obama, who will emerge as the one who encourages Barak.

2. Thus, does this mean that we have been languishing from Martin King’s time, and that now our Barak is to be like Gideon? No matter how it plays out, the prophecy is foretelling that at some point a Black or Blacks in general will lead this deeply divided nation to the glory of God.

That was written in 2007, but today, the woman who stands with Barack Obama could be Hillary Clinton, since we do not always know to whom the typology points. However, the future will tell as the prophecy unfolds. The main point is that Barack Obama stands in a long line of African Americans of whom Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was the last main character forty (40) years ago.

Republican Conspiracy Revealed Back in March

Today I laugh at the pundits and experts and all their analyses. These people manipulate the minds of not-so-astute American voters and play on their emotions. Below, I reprint a blog I made back on March 7th when I revealed the Republican conspiracy against Obama and their direct involvement in Democratic politics by voting for Hillary Clinton to make it seem that she is strong and electable. This conspiracy was hatched by Rush Limbaugh back in 2004 and when it became apparent that following Kerry's defeat, Hillaryy would be the Democratic Party's nominee.

For 2 years, Rush Limbaugh laqmbasted the Clintons and repeatedly harrangued listeners that he couldn't wit to embarrass the Clintons in the 2008 election. But Barack Obama happened, so the obvious strategy was to hit Barack with all kinds of negative ads and sound bytes, and last but not least, to vote for Hillary in those states like Texas where Republicans could vote in Democratic Primaries. Now, the secret has been thoroughly exposed, and I know that some Democratic voters feel extremely foolish at having been duped. This thing could have been over on Super Tuesday if it was not for the Republican conspiracy.

A Republican Conspiracy to Derail Obama
Political pundits and Media analysts are slow to realize what Republican conspirators are getting them to do. It has long been Rush Limbaugh’s publicly stated case that Conservatives want Hillary Clinton to be the Democratic nominee. He was touting this the month after John Kerry lost, and for the next two years that was his daily theme. Make him show the record of all his programs.Republicans want Hillary to be the nominee, so they are dumping everything against Barack Obama and are placing news items in the right places to compel the news media to speak against Obama. John McCain has attacked Barack Obama more than 3 times he has attacked Hillary Clinton. In 1961, a young African-American man, after hearing President John F. Kennedy's challenge to, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country," gave up his student deferment, left college in Virginia and voluntarily joined the Marines.

In 1963, this man, having completed his two years of service in the Marines, volunteered again to become a Navy corpsman. (They provide medical assistance to the Marines as well as to Navy personnel.)
The man did so well in corpsman school that he was the valedictorian and became a cardiopulmonary technician. Not surprisingly, he was assigned to the Navy's premier medical facility, Bethesda Naval Hospital , as a member of the commander in chief's medical team, and helped care for President Lyndon B. Johnson after his 1966 surgery.

For his service on the team, which he left in 1967, the White House awarded him three letters of commendation. What is even more remarkable is that this man entered the Marines and Navy not many years after the two branches began to become integrated.
While this young man was serving six years on active duty, Vice President Dick Cheney, who was born the same year as the Marine/ sailor, received five deferments, four for being an undergraduate and graduate student and one for being a prospective father.

Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, both five years younger than the African-American youth, used their student deferments to stay in college until 1968. Both then avoided going on active duty through family connections.

Who is the real patriot? The young man who interrupted his studies to serve his country for six years or our three political leaders who beat the system? Are the patriots the people who actually sacrifice something or those who merely talk about their love of the country?

After leaving the service of his country, the young African-American finished his final year of college, entered the seminary, was ordained as a minister, and eventually became pastor of a large church in one of America 's biggest cities.

This man is Rev. Jeremiah Wright, the retiring pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ.

A Dilemma: King's Dream vs. the American Dream

In 1892, Mary Elizabeth Lease a leader in the Populist Party said: "Money rules . . . The parties lie to us and the political speakers mislead us!" In 1968, Dr. Martin King, Jr. emphasized that because American political leaders continue to mislead Black America the civil rights movement had " to confront America's domestic crisis, to make everyone "face the fact America is a racist country. . ." (David Garrow, Bearing the Cross, p.609). Mary Lease shouted across the Mid-West, "raise less corn, raise more hell," and King traversed the South shouting that America had given Blacks a bounced check, and that Black people were the conscience of the nation. In socio-political terms both Lease and King were saying the same thing, which is: "The politics of them that rule don't care about the plight of poor farmers, poor blacks or poor Whites. Mary Lease hoped that the People's Party would be the answer, and Martin King hoped that the Poor People's Campaign would be the answer. But the truth is: Money still rules in America, and the political leaders still mislead us, and the parties still lie to us.

Today, White America still owes an "open apology" to Black America. The efforts of Whites who marched, suffered beatings and death to stand with their Black brothers cannot atone for the nation's consistent denial that the racial degradation of an entire ethnic people who worked without compensation to build the fortunes of Southern and Northern Whites.

The forgiveness sought by John Mccain at the National Civil Rights Museum was given to him in the spirit of King who often said that Blacks were the soul of the nation and America's conscience. But McCain's feeble apology of admitting he was wrong to vote "no" on the King's memorial holiday bill, fell flat in the light of the 3 weeks of continual disparaging of the Reverend Jeremiah Wright. An "open" apology for slavery, Jim Crow, discrimination, and segregation will be the only way of purging the guilt and hatred that still exists.

But what Mary Lease and Martin King both alluded to in their campaigns for justice was that America's political system favors the rich, and the American Dream depends on individualism and opportunity. Yet, what these two different types of leaders understood was that the poor could never take advantage of America's Dream unless some rich benefactor in Washington financed that dream. They articulated America's dilemma-stand on "equality for all" while limiting opportunities to a few that could afford it. In short, march and demonstrate, but raise more hell.

Six years before he was murdered in cold blood, King gave an address to the National Press Club, which served as the basis for a final sermon entitled "Unfulfilled Dreams." In that address, King said: "We feel that we are the conscience of America--we are its troubled soul--we will continue to insist that right be done because both God's will and the heritage of our nation speak through our echoing demands. We are simply seeking to bring into full realization the American dream--a dream yet unfulfilled. A dream of equality of opportunity . . . a dream of a land where men no longer argue that the color of a man's skin determines the content of his character . . ."

One of King's sermons entitled "Shattered Dreams" illustrated the frustrations of Black people similar to that of the Apostle Paul as illustrated in Romans 15:28. Anyone who ever faced the "agony of blasted hopes" and longed for freedom but remained oppressed and degraded, could understand Paul's frustration of wanting to preach in Spain only to be disappointed (See Richard Lischer's Preacher King p, 105).

In 1968, King preached his last sermon entitled, "Unfulfilled Dreams," which mirrored the ideas of his "Shattered Dreams." Lischer rightly concerns with the Memphians who attended that last service that King's sermon was not about an individual disappointment or the Negro people's but about "King's own failure to build a kingdom of racial harmony in America" (Lischer, p. 107) King's dream had crumpled; it had meant the hard flinty rock wall of White prejudice, and because his Christian committment gave him no choice of violence, he lamented in no uncertain terms his shattered dreams.

King had come full circle, and the prejudice and injustice of White America had succeeded in creating a non-violent Martin who was drawing closer to the thinking of Malcolm. The half-hearted apology of John McCain, and the rhetoric of "Compassionate Conservatism" of George Bush and Rush Limbaugh, could not and cannot purge the guilt from the conscience of America. And this is what the Whites who support Barack Obama is seeing and experiencing. The catharsis of the mind and spirit and the uplifting of the conscience of Whites who support a Black to become a Presidential nominee is drawing closer to King's Black-White theme.

This movement led by Obama is the ultimate conclusion of a dream that was shattered 40 years ago. And just in case you, the reader, have missed the biblical typology, let me remind you that Moses led the children of Israel out of slavery and in the desert for 40 years; but it took a Joshua, a second Moses to lead them into the promise land. But don't stop there, for there is one who is the New Moses, who will lead God's children into the Heavenly Canaan . . . and that is what King saw from the Mountaintop.

McCain-Rice vs Obama-Clinton

Imagine this scenario!

The Republican's Convention is so dry because the world already knows who the nominee is that a few well-heeled Conservatives, the hidden leaders of the GOP, let it be known that unless they get some straight answers and committments to keep the pressure on in the Middle East, they will turn the Republican Presidential Campaign on its sides. In that cloudy maize of raucus backslapping, the announcer calls for silence so that John McCain, the last son of the Bush Clan, the one that Kitty Kelly forgot to write about in The Family: The Real Story of the Bush Dynasty, could make an announcement. John McCain, with the soporific whisper now overcharged to become a thundering squawk, said: "Fellow Republicans, after much consultation and cogitation, I am pleased to announce that this GOP July Surprise is being viewed by more than 100 millions. After much "cog . . . cogin . . .tation," my running mate chosen to help me carry forward our agreed agenda will be that . . . that young, eloquent, vivacious, no nonsense Condi Rice . . .?!" (A soft and scattered applause . . . the camera switches quickly to commercial followed by a former band view and excited recap by the announcer).

My Patriots . . . Democrats . . . all of us who stand in the tradition of the Anti-Federalists, fighting tooth and nail for a Bill of Rights for the people. Stand your ground! Forget Rush Limbaugh, he's a has-been. The millions of new young Democrats that Barack has brought into the Party will blow Rush's tired, aging, and soon to fade away listeners out of the water. The Tsunami wave of new voters will literally so sweep through Congress that many Republicans are even now, at this writing, trying to find ways to withstand the sweeper's broom. They are gone people. Obama's wave is prophesied to sweep them away.

Besides, Obama-Clinton could defeat McCain-Rice very simply. Obama towers over McCain in age, eloquence, and economic understanding. He blows McCain away with a better understanding of 'when and where' to use our military. But what is more important, Obama has a social conscience, McCain does not. McCain is also beholden to the Big Corporations and the Big Oil Companies of which his adopted family own shares and wells.

On the other hand, Clinton is a far better speaker than Rice. Rice may be academic, but Clinton seems to handle herself better when placed in a diplomatic setting. Rice stumbles . . . overly cautious as those searching for words for American consumption rather than speaking to the people in her presence. Clinton speaks off-the-cuff, even though she has a tendency to embellish
the truth, and then plead forgetfulness. Pound for pound, Clinton's ambition for diplomacy makes Rice's pale away in shadows. And then, by now everyone knows the truth. Truth is that we are in a recession, no matter how the leader of the Fed try to double-speak.

What is the result of all this? The GOP July Surprise will become the soggy wet and bad tasting dessert, which plainly demonstrates poor cooking and little solid ingredients.

What is the Media's Bias?

Here I sit already sick over the Media's play and replay of Barack Obama's bowling 37 points.
But doesn't the Media owe us at least 4 days of non-stop reporting on Hillary Clinton's Church Affiliation?

If the report that MSNBC broke this story a long time ago is correct, the Media is revealing its true bias with the lack of exhaustive reporting on Hillary's Church affiliation considering the almost murderous way they went after Barack Obama for his association with Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

If her relationship with The Family is what has been reported, the Media's action smell of blatant racism by its lack of coverage. Besides, all we Clinton supporters would want this topic widely aired before John McCain and the Republicans deal with it in the General Election. Or can we deduce that the Media's bias is for John Bush McCain and the retention of the Bush Dynasty and its sycophants.

Let me get this straight!

Hillary is connected to Madonna by genes and DNA, but Obama is connected to 6 past Presidents including the One who authored Our Republic, and wrote the Virginia Plan and the draft of the Constitution?

Let me get this straight. Obama is descended from a stock from which we got James Madison, the "single most important American--the most creative thinker of his generation?" Madison, the one who solved the "obstacles to the creation of an effective national government: question of sovereignty and the question of limiting power?" (Alan Brinkley, American History: A Survey, Volume I to 1877, p. 163)

Hahaha! This is so funny. Let me get this straight. The one descendant from Madonna and Camilla (the would-be queen of England) derides Obama by saying he is not Commander-in-Chief material, yet he is descended from roots which produce 6 past Presidents, and even the one to whom we owe gratitude for this great Democratic Republic?

Get away! Let me get this straight. The man has what it takes and more. No wonder he towers head and shoulders over McCain and Clinton, and especially looks as one who is Presidential, even in his delivery if nothing else. Get away . . . it's in the genes. His DNA proves that he is above the rest, and we should stop the bickering. He's got it.

Last night, a reporter who has not spent 40 years on the Planet, complained to Keith Oberman that Obama does not talk to reporters. Why should he talk to them? Most of them only want to make sensational stories for their ratings. Besides, the truth is that the media will take his plans apart, and give Hillary ammunition to cut him down. McCain will use that information to thwart Obama and win another term for the Bushites. But if he remain silent, and give the reporters nothing, when he defeats Hillary and become the nominee Obama will bring it in the 4th quarter just like he said. He knows that he has to get on the ballot, and that's why he's better off not revealing too much of his plans. Just like he was the first to talk about "change," both Hillary and McCain grabbed the slogan and tried to make it theirs.

McCain is a has-been, and Hillary's aging constituencies are only afraid of the future. America needs new blood. So Obama went out and produced millions and millions of new young voters with more joining the movement every day. Consequently, the Democratic Tsunami will sweep away all those corrupt, money-hungry, Republicans in Congress who want to rule by America by a small committee.

So let me get this straight. An honest assessment of election 2008 is that the Democratic tide will flush away a lot of Republicans in Congress who hate social programs? Right? And by the same token, those Super Delegates who make up their minds and endorse him now, will ride his coattails to victory in November? Right? And what is more, they will discover that not only can he bring it, but they will discover that he's legitimate because "he's got the genes?" Right?

So hold on Barack. The campaign will get nastier. The last vestiges of racial hatred and class manipulation will try to make a last stand. But the correct assessment is that you'll get a chance to do what you promised. And when that time comes, we, the people, the poor and the indigent, Middle America locked in financial crisis made by Bush 43, young Americans full of hope and ideals in colleges and universities looking for someone to hear our cries, we want you to bring it. Bring it for us. Bring it for James Madison and his father's friend George Washington. Bring it on Obama, crank it up, because we're behind you. And if we have to go to Denver, never fear we and the power of Our God will be there. . . just bring it down the line, honest and true, down through the Red Zone and down through the goal-posts because we know now that you got the genes. And we know you can bring it, because you've got the genes.

Dear Jodi:
Thank you for engaging in one of the biggest misrepresentations of the truth I have ever seen in sixty-five years. You sat and shared with me for two hours. You told me you were doing a “Spiritual Biography” of Senator Barack Obama. For two hours, I shared with you how I thought he was the most principled individual in public service that I have ever met.For two hours, I talked with you about how idealistic he was.

For two hours I shared with you what a genuine human being he was. I told you how incredible he was as a man who was an African American in public service, and as a man who refused to announce his candidacy for President until Carol Moseley Braun indicated one way or the other whether or not she was going to run.I told you what a dreamer he was.

I told you how idealistic he was. We talked about how refreshing it would be for someone who knew about Islam to be in the Oval Office. Your own question to me was, Didn’t I think it would be incredible to have somebody in the Oval Office who not only knew about Muslims, but had living and breathing Muslims in his own family? I told you how important it would be to have a man who not only knew the difference between Shiites and Sunnis prior to 9/11/01 in the Oval Office, but also how important it would be to have a man who knew what Sufism was; a man who understood that there were different branches of Judaism; a man who knew the difference between Hasidic Jews, Orthodox Jews, Conservative Jews and Reformed Jews; and a man who was a devout Christian, but who did not prejudge others because they believed something other than what he believed.

I talked about how rare it was to meet a man whose Christianity was not just “in word only.” I talked about Barack being a person who lived his faith and did not argue his faith. I talked about Barack as a person who did not draw doctrinal lines in the sand nor consign other people to hell if they did not believe what he believed.

Out of a two-hour conversation with you about Barack’s spiritual journey and my protesting to you that I had not shaped him nor formed him, that I had not mentored him or made him the man he was, even though I would love to take that credit, you did not print any of that. When I told you, using one of your own Jewish stories from the Hebrew Bible as to how God asked Moses, “What is that in your hand?” that Barack was like that when I met him. Barack had it in his hand. Barack had in his grasp a uniqueness in terms of his spiritual development that one is hard put to find in the 21st century, and you did not print that.

As I was just starting to say a moment ago, Jodi, out of two hours of conversation I spent approximately five to seven minutes on Barack’s taking advice from one of his trusted campaign people and deeming it unwise to make me the media spotlight on the day of his announcing his candidacy for the Presidency and what do you print? You and your editor proceeded to present to the general public a snippet, a printed “sound byte” and a titillating and tantalizing article about his disinviting me to the Invocation on the day of his announcing his candidacy.

I have never been exposed to that kind of duplicitous behavior before, and I want to write you publicly to let you know that I do not approve of it and will not be party to any further smearing of the name, the reputation, the integrity or the character of perhaps this nation’s first (and maybe even only) honest candidate offering himself for public service as the person to occupy the Oval Office.

Your editor is a sensationalist. For you to even mention that makes me doubt your credibility, and I am looking forward to see how you are going to butcher what else I had to say concerning Senator Obama’s ”Spiritual Biography”. Our Conference Minister, the Reverend Jane Fisler Hoffman, a white woman who belongs to a Black church that Hannity of ”Hannity and Colmes” is trying to trash, set the record straight for you in terms of who I am and in terms of who we are as the church to which Barack has belonged for over twenty years.

The president of our denomination, the Reverend John Thomas, has offered to try to help you clarify in your confused head what Trinity Church is even though you spent the entire weekend with us setting me up to interview me for what turned out to be a smear of the Senator; and yet The New York Times continues to roll on making the truth what it wants to be the truth. I do not remember reading in your article that t Barack had apologized for listening to that bad information and bad advice. Did I miss it? Or did your editor cut it out? Either way, you do not have to worry about hearing anything else from me for you to edit or because you are more interested in journalism than in truth.

Forgive me for having a momentary lapse. I forgot that The New York Times was leading the bandwagon in trumpeting why it is we should have gone into an illegal war. The New York Times became George Bush and the Republican Party. The New York Times played a role in the outing of Valerie Plame. I do not know why I thought The New York Times had actually repented and was going to exhibit a different kind of behavior.Maybe it was my faith in the Jewish Holy Day of Roshashana.

Maybe it was my being caught up in the euphoria of the Season of Lent; but whatever it is or was, I was sadly mistaken. There is n o repentance on the part of The New York Times. There is no integrity when it comes to The Times. You should do well with that paper, Jodi. You looked me straight in my face and told me a lie!

Hermanos Y Amigos!
Two years ago Rush Lumbaugh spent 31 days lambasting Hillary Clinton with defacing rhetoric. He was happy he said that the Liberal Dems would nominate Hillary, and this would give them the chance to sink the Liberals once and for all. This was during the time that the Republican-Abramhoff scandal was in its heyday, and he himself was under investigation for something regarding prescriptions. But, what stuck with me was a reference he made to Ronald Reagan and the Latino vote. He did not differentiate between Cubanos, Mexicanos, Ricanos, Columbians, Panamanians, Peruvians or Dominican Republicans. And that started me thinking. Rumour and inuendo was being emitted intermittantly from Republican talk show hosts that Blacks and Latinos hate each other and that they don't have the intelligence to band together to bring about change in America.

At the time, I was teaching a class of 42, thirteen of whom were Hispanics. These students often raised political questions in my History class, with even more coming in my Religion class. My response was always the same. There will come a time, I said, when Latinos, Blacks and White women will realize that if they band together and become "Hermanos Y Amigos" they would take over the country from the "good ole' boys." Some Hispanics wanted to know more about becoming brothers with Blacks when in numerous communitites in LA, Chicago, New York and Miami, there seemed to be an endless stream of bloody turf-wars. My response was to show that throughout recorded history tribes, clans, nations and ethnic groups have always fought over turf.

The fights in 20th century New York, I said were typical. When Italians from southern and eastern Europe came to America there were constant battles between them and those from northern and western Europe who had come 2-3 decades before. Italians-northern against southern-fought to the death, and there was the same between Sicilians and Italians during the 1920s and the time of Capone. When one million Irish, who fled Ireland because they were starving to death, came to America, they fought with the Italians and Europeans who were here already, and then they turned their ire on the Blacks because they found it difficult to get jobs. They were the last hired for the more dangerous jobs.

Then, when I told them that everyone in America is an immigrant of sorts, or the descendant of immigrants, the Hispanics and the Blacks in my classes began to share a comadery they had never experienced before, but they challenged me to clarify that bold statement. I explained that the native Americans came across the Bering Strait at Alaska following game some 12,000-14,000 years ago, and they spread out across the north, east, west and south. When the Spanish came after Columbus discovered the Bahamas and the New World in 1492, the Pope settled an argument between Spain and Portugal, which caused everything west of the line agreed in the Treaty of Tordesillas (1494) to be Spanish and Hispanic in culture, and every new land, including Brazil, to be Portugeuse.

I explained that the English running for religious and political freedom landed in Virginia and Massachusetts, and that over time, others came. And since that time, every generation born in the United States wanted to keep others from coming.The only ones whose ancestors did not migrate to the United States were the Blacks. They were brought here in abject, filthy, and brutal diabolic conditions in the holds of ships laced with dysentry and disease, which led some historians to claim that more than 15 million died crossing the Middle Passage. This bit of history, I shared, meant that Jews who lost 6 million by European hands, should be more sympathetic to Blacks who lost 15 million--many of whom were thrown overboard, chained and alive. This also means that the Irish, who had sympathized with Blacks during their slavery, should have continued that kinship rather than opt to join the supremacy of the color line. Ultimately, this means, I said, that Mexicanos who should be taught that the U.S. border crossed the lands of their ancestors, who were for a while protected by the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, should also feel a kinship with the Blacks. Because these Blacks, whipped and threatened in some instances by dogs, had to cut down the trees, drain the swamps, dig up stumps and boulders, and clear the land before they could plant and harvest. Yet, they had a great relationship with Latinos and Mexicanos in Tampa and Texas long before the Civil Rights Era began in earnest.

After the third day of asking them to google-up the proof of the history, I discovered that the Mexicanos began to interact with the Blacks in such a way that even the white students in the class joined the group of "Friends and Brothers." Indeed, "Vamanos, amigos y hermanos, va el tiempo, y, si se puede."

Shame Hillary: Your Slip is Showing!

Tonight the world is laughing at our great America. Two would-be leaders have embarrassed us today.

It was bad enough that after 3 years of fighting a war in Iraq, top level officials at the pentagon could not tell a British reporter the difference between a Shiite and a Sunni. What is even worse, they sent thousands of innocent, not yet gone to college, high school graduates into a war but they, themselves, did not know the importance of the Shrine of Ali and the significance of Nasiryah.

Then, too, the Republican nominee, who struts as though he is already beginning George Bush's 3rd term, showed the world how deep the ignorance is, which characterizes people who live shut-out from the world's reality. Mixing up Shi'a and Sunni, how could that be? Not one of my students over the past 7 years would get that question wrong. In fact, they laughed their heads off last year when the British reporter spread the news of the Pentagon's ignorance. What idiocy? No, what treachery? How loosely we have gamboled away our leadership capital. And now the world laughs in hysterics.

Today, on the 5th anniversary, we are told that it was noble to get rid of Sadaam because he was a bad man. But, if I remember correctly, in 1988 when Sadaam gassed the Kurds fighting for Iran against him, neither Ronald Reagan, Bush 41, Bush 43, Donald Rumsfeld, nor Dick Cheney made a sound. No-one condemned Sadaam then. So, even if we found no WMDs, Sadaam was a "bad" man? By whose estimates? He wasn't considered a "bad man" in 1988, because no-one condemned him. Oh! I forgot, we went in for "regime change."

(2) In the second scenario, Hillary blames Obama for not allowing the Florida and Michigan voters to be heard. Someone should tell her that several more millions would have voted if her opponent was on the ballot. What an exercise in blatant hypocrisy? If this is what it takes to be President, I would not want to be one. And certainly, people of integrity cannot want a President so shallow either, because in the long run, she will get us into more trouble with the rest of the world. Will someone please tell her that the slip is showing . . . and nowadays, in case she hasn't heard, world leaders are not so forgiving. They talk behind your back.

The World Knows Who Should be President

It was chilling to hear Hillary say, from New Hampshire to Texas, words that she borrowed without giving credit, even while she accused Obama of plagiarizing words given by his co-chair. In several speeches she said that”a politician looks to the next election, but a statesman is concerned about the next generation." These words are not her own. She was quoting without giving the credit; nevertheless, these words are true. And now, the world knows that Hillary is the politician who is only concerned about getting elected, while Obama is the statesman who is concerned about the country and the next generation. Obama’s speech demonstrates that he stands above the common and deserves to be the one who leads this troubled nation.

It is interesting that the female analysts on TV do not mention that Obama’s mother was a White woman. They systematically deny that he is half-white; and by doing so they destroy U. S. History and denigrate everything the House of Burgesses in Virginia did in 1662. For it was in that year that Virginia passed a law, which said that all the children of a Black woman was born a slave for life, but all the children of a White woman was born free. The implication changed International Law. Children were automatically classified by the nationality and condition of their father in the 17th century, but America changed that and declared that a child took on the status and condition of its mother. Thus, Obama’s condition by law should be discussed and referenced by his “whiteness” not his “blackness.”

What this is all about really, is that those White Americans who berate Obama’s so-called race, and denigrate his association with the Rev. Dr. Wright, are the ones who refuse to face the fact that America did wrong during slavery, and that the Constitution was not written to grant “equality” to blacks. Barack Obama’s speech demonstrates that he is one who would push for the passing of ERA and grant American women equal rights by law, just as he would push for legislation granting equal rights to Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, and Latinos. The News Media called it incorrectly, and now they can stop talking about Hillary's fabulous "kitchen-sink" comeback. According to Andrew Sullivan's Daily Dish, Obama won the Texas Caucus, which gave him a total of 99 delegates to Clinton's 94. So much for that lie.

What is even worse, is that according to DNC the released voter count today, Obama has a substantial lead in the popular vote, by a margin of 705,691 votes. The breakdown is as follows:

Obama - 13,335,159
Clinton - 12,629,468
Margin - 705,691

So, even though Republicans in Mississippi voted heavily for Hillary in order to substantially decrease Obam's lead, the grassroots Big Mo' Express continued to roll and will gather speed heading into the fourth quarter. Republicans are scared that one could win the White House who is not like Geraldine Ferraro. They are more than happy, one said, that al Qaeda has started bombing, and this time, Americans will beg John McCain to step in and save them. What crock!?! This is worse than Hillary fooling Ohioans that the President will answer a red phone at 3:00am without anyone of the dozen people in the Pentagon or White House staff knowing about it. What does this say about the integrity of the Clinton who wants to be President?

The conspiracy to knock out Obama with all the negative publicity against him, with lies and inuendoes, with positive upbeat news for Hillary, with sympathethic ads and photo ops showing her hugging babies, is not working. All of these Republicans are smarter than we are, and the Clinton Campaign staff had cornered the market on intelligence and truthfullness, but what these self-important people fail to acknowledge is that just maybe Barack Obama has the backing of Heaven. Now there's a thought for those on the low road-whether they believe a Creator exists or not.

Crist is Not Saying All . . .

The charge that Governor Crist is a hypocrite and not saying all is making the rounds in Iowa as we speak. For two years, Rush Limbaugh and his Republicans have been planning how to defeat Hillary Clinton. They have catalogued all the Clinton's baggage from more than two dozen questionable pardons, to Marc Rich's questionable millions and the $100 million dollar fine, to Tony Rodham's questionable association with the Gregory's and the $125,000 so-called loan.

The fact that Governor Crist stolidly claims that the voters of Florida MUST be heard is hypocritical because not all the voters in Florida have been given the opportunity to vote in a fair election.

The Florida Primary was not a fair one because the DNC rules had been violated and the Florida chapter had been forewarned that they would forfeit seating. Besides that, the up-standing honest Hillary had agreed with the others not to campaign in Florida, but she violated that by what the Clinton Campaign did immediately before and after the voting.

There were 2 conspiracies: (a) the first was the Republican conspiracy to do whatever nastiness necessary to help Hillary Clinton win the Democratic nomination; and when she did they could easily beat her becaue of the baggage she carried beside being a Corporate woman; and (b) the Clinton Campaign deliberately seized on the actions of Florida and Michigan to create confusion, which would trouble the Democratic Convention in Denver.

Democratic leaders of the DNC need to be extremely careful that Governor Crist, the hypocrite, nor the Republican Media Newreporters, who do not report news but give personal opinions with only glowing reports for their female candidate--using female-oriented language--they are illogically persuaded that "the voters vote must count." Governor Crist was not saying this in 2000 when Jeb Bush was governor and it became apparent that 45,000 Jews and others in Broward and Palm Beach had voted for Liberman to be Vice-President. Neither did I hear him object to the phony felony list that Catherine Harris and Jeb Bush made up through some private firm, by which black mothers, who had never seen the inside of a courtroom were turned away en masse.

Perhaps Governor Crist has met the Savior, whose chiefest apostle did his greatest work for Truth in the Greek Isles almost 2,000 years ago. Just maybe the Governor has sin cere intentions. But just in case he has forgotten what the Latin phrase means, it means "without wax." That means that anyone who is "sincere" he or she can be held to the fire and they will not melt.

But please, will someone remind the Governor that there is a hell that will burn . . . even though its not burning now (2 Peter 3:7-11).

A Republican Conspiracy to Derail Obama

Political pundits and Media analysts are slow to realize what Republican conspirators are getting them to do. It has long been Rush Limbaugh’s publicly stated case that Conservatives want Hillary Clinton to be the Democratic nominee. He was touting this the month after John Kerry lost, and for the next two years that was his daily theme. Make him show the record of all his programs.

Republicans want Hillary to be the nominee, so they are dumping everything against Barack Obama and are placing news items in the right places to compel the news media to speak against Obama. John McCain has attacked Barack Obama more than 3 times he has attacked Hillary Clinton.

The whole thing is a conspiracy to get Barack Obama to go negative so that they can charge him with being of moral turpitude, promising one kind of campaign but running another hate one “just like what he says he wants to change.”

The fact is, John McCain will get lots and lots of hundreds of millions from the well-heeled rich Conservative Republicans, but it will be in vain because he can’t win. There are too many millions more poor and middle class people, who do not earn 200,000 per year. This avalanche of working people, who feel it is time for the rich to stop it, will drown McCain and his supporters Bush 41 and 43 in a deluge of votes that will make him think he’d been hit by a tsunami.

Black & Brown Political Party For Success

Thirty-Six years after Gary, it will be abundantly clear that Blacks and Browns in America must form their own political party. The history of the United States of America clearly shows that the dominant culture has used these voters for their own ends for more than 100 years.

If we consider several historical facts, the proof is so overwhelming that all opposition will crumble and detractors slink away in shame.

(1) Today no-one considers the fact that the first Civil Rights Act of 1865 was passed, which gave Black people the same rights as Whites. In 1868, in order to keep the Southern politicans out of control of Congress, the Radical Republicans gave black men the right to vote in the 15th Amendment, which was ratified in 1870. And they did this, despite the Black cry for "land" instead of the vote. Black Americans wanted land to cultivate so that they could feed their families. But the Republicans used them to work the land for Whites and vote for Republicans to control Congress. Women had to wait for another 50 years.

Ten years later the Civil Rights Act of 1875 was passed with the intention to open public accommodation including "schools, churches, cemeteries, hotels, and transportation to all people regardless of race" (Hine, Hine, & Harold, 2006, p. 327). Hispanics and Asians in the country at that time benefited greatly and were allowed to flourish somewhat.

(2) Blacks dutifully and loyally voted Republican for 60 years, then in 1933, Herbert Hoover appointed a racist judge, John J. Parker, to the Supreme Court. From that point on, the NAACP prompted every Black to vote Democratic since the Republicans only wanted to use them. Voting toghether, Blacks defeated every Senator (22 of them) that voted for Judge Parker, and they still vote Democratic today. But the question remains: "For what purpose do Blacks vote Democratic?"

(3) Blacks fought and died in every war, and they suffered worse than death everytime the Democratic Party failed them. They suffered under discrimination, segregated in every area of life until in 1960, in the heat of the battle for their citizenship rights, the Democratic Party produced John Kennedy and his brother Bobby who showed some affinity to Black people. Black hope for equality was short-lived because conspirators effectively murdered both Kennedys and, in the process, murdered Dr. Martin King the leader of the Civil Rights Movement. After Kennedy, President Lyndon Johnson carried forward the initiative started by Kennedy and finally signed the Civil Rights Bill of 1964, and the Voting Rights Bill of 1965.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 banned discrimination in public accommodation, restaurants, night-clubs, schools, swimming pools, parks and playgrounds as well as employers from discriminating against African Americans. Through all of this, Hispanic, Latino and Mexican-Americans benefited.

The Civil Rights Act of 1968 banned discrimination in housing and authorized the Justice Department to sue landlords and Real Estate companies that violated the law.

The Civil Rights Act of 1972 firmly established Affirmative Action, with the intent to level the playing field for minorities and Blacks in particular. President Carter appointed Eleanor Holmes Norton as the first woman to chair the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Because of the EEOC, African Americans began to move into the Middle Class. But this also benefited many Hispanic and Latino professionals.

Some African Americans positioned to take advantage of Affirmative Action were appointed to many top positions in Corporate America and high posts in state and local government. Despite all this, the majority of Black America still suffered.

(4) In 1972, 8000 blacks convened the National Black Political Convention. The Convention addressed Black America in an attempt to define some "essential changes" that must take place if the full potential of black children was to be realized. The general understanding at that time was "Both parties have betrayed us!" But because many of the participants were enjoying Middle Class status and high appointments at the hand of White America, the convention split before it could decide what was the best strategy for African Americans. This was the result of White strategy of divide and conquer. Ever since native Americans and Blacks united to fight White domination in Florida, a clear strategy has been to keep Blacks and native Americans divided. Native Americans had been used to track runaway slaves; but the Army had also used Blacks to track and fight rebel native Americans. Unfortunately, the same kind of strategy is being used today. The theme of the American Media is that Blacks and Hispanics are in some kind of culture conflict over jobs and empowerment.

Nevertheless, if Blacks and Browns revisit what was discussed in Gary, and become to realize that they have both been betrayed, they will derive a power never before experienced in America and things will change. With the power to elect a President and give a Party the votes to control Congress, the Black-Brown Coalition of some almost 60 million people will be formidable.

Hermanos Y Amigos!

Two years ago Rush Lumbaugh spent 31 days lambasting Hillary Clinton with defacing rhetoric. He was happy he said that the Liberal Dems would nominate Hillary, and this would give them the chance to sink the Liberals once and for all. This was during the time that the Republican-Abramhoff scandal was in its heyday, and he himself was under investigation for something regarding prescriptions. But, what stuck with me was a reference he made to Ronald Reagan and the Latino vote. He did not differentiate between Cubanos, Mexicanos, Ricanos, Columbians, Panamanians, Peruvians or Dominican Republicans. And that started me thinking.

Rumour and inuendo was being emitted intermittantly from Republican talk show hosts that Blacks and Latinos hate each other and that they don't have the intelligence to band together to bring about change in America. At the time, I was teaching a class of 42, thirteen of whom were Hispanics. These students eagerly raised political questions in my History class, with even more coming in my Religion class. My response was always the same. There will come a time, I said, when Latinos, Blacks and White women will realize that if they band together and become "Hermanos Y Amigos" they would take over the country from the "good ole' boys."

Some Hispanics wanted to know more about becoming brothers with Blacks when in numerous communitites in LA, Chicago, New York and Miami, there seemed to be an endless stream of bloody turf-wars. My response was to show that throughout recorded history tribes, clans, nations and ethnic groups have always fought over turf. The fights in 20th century New York, I said were typical. When Italians from southern and eastern Europe came to America there were constant battles between them and those from northern and western Europe who had come 2-3 decades before. Italians-northern against southern-fought to the death, and there was the same between Sicilians and Italians during the 1920s and the time of Capone.

When one million Irish, who fled Ireland because they were starving to death, came to America, they fought with the Italians and Europeans who were here already, and then they turned their ire on the Blacks because they found it difficult to get jobs, and were the last hired for the more dangerous jobs.

When I told them that everyone in America is an immigrant of sorts, or the descendant of immigrants, the Hispanics and the Blacks in my classes began to share a comadery they had never experienced before, but they challenged me to
clarify that bold statement.

I explained that the native Americans came across the Bering Strait at Alaska following game some 12,000-14,000 years ago, and they spread out across the north, east, west and south. Then, when the Spanish came after Columbus discovered the Bahamas and the New World in 1492, the Pope settled an argument between Spain and Portugal, which caused everything west of the line agreed in the Treaty of Tordesillas (1494) to be Spanish and Hispanic in culture, and every new land, including Brazil, to be Portugeuse. I explained that the English running for religious and political freedom landed in Virginia and Massachusetts, and that over time, others came. And since that time, every generation born in the United States wanted to keep others from coming.

The only ones whose ancestors did not migrate to the United States were the blacks. They were brought here in abject, filthy, and brutal diabolic conditions in the holds of ships laced with dysentry and disease, which led some historians to claim that more than 15 million died crossing the Middle Passage. This bit of history, I shared, meant that Jews who lost 6 million by European hands, should be more sympathetic to Blacks who lost 15 million--many of whom were thrown overboard, chained and alive.

This also means that the Irish, who had sympathized with Blacks during their slavery, should have continued that kinship rather than opt to join the supremacy of the color line. And ultimately, this means, I said, that Mexicanos who should be taught that the U.S. border crossed the lands of their ancestors, who were for a while protected by the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, should also feel a kinship with the Blacks. Because these Blacks, whipped and threatened in some instances by dogs, had to cut down the trees, drain the swamps, dig up stumps and boulders, and clear the land before they could plant and harvest. Yet, they had a great relationship with Latinos and Mexicanos in Tampa and Texas long before the Civil Rights Era began in ernest.

After the third day of asking them to google-up the proof of the history, I discovered that the Mexicanos began to interact with the Blacks in such a way that even the white students in the class joined the group of "Friends and Brothers." Indeed, "Vamanos, amigos y hermanos, va el tiempo, y, si se puede."

Will the Real Obama Please Stand Up!

American politics has sunk to an all time low. It appears that even the Palestinians elected Hamas without this kind of confusion, and that the Iraqis braved bombs and bullets to vote for their choice of candidates without this kind of rancor. They harbored tribal and religious hatred, but not the kind of racial hatred we find in the United States of America.

Let me get this straight. Obama is a Shiite "Iranian Agent" (according to the subscript on CNN), but he is also a Muslim with Sadaam Hussein's name and one to be feared, but he is also al Qaeda, according to inuendoes of the warm-up pundit of John McCain's campaign, but this man is not only a dangerous Muslim who supports Israel and eats with Jewish friends, but his Muslim father gave him a Hebrew name that translates "Blessed" for anyone who invokes good, thinks good thoughts about people, and does good, even for his enemies, but here is the kicker, this al Qaeda Muslim is a Christian who swears on the Christian Bible.

Won't these people give me a break. Apparently, my 190 credit hours to earn a Bachelor's degree and my two Masters degrees, and Doctorate degree was all for nothing. Please straighten me out. I'm drowning in this nonsense. I would have hoped that a McCain or Clinton Presidency would make me feel truly safe; but with such garbage as I outlined I'm really confused as to why any American would vote for either one of them.

Isn't it strange that an American can get on the TV News Talk Show of Dan Abrams and denounce Barack Obama for not wearing an American Flag lapel pin and he himself was not wearing one.

Isn't strange that some woman, who seems bigoted and driven to the point beyond reason, ranted on and on that Barack Obama needs to open himself up to the American people and refused to acknowledge Dan Abrams' question about Obama/s book and his open confession of Marujuana use. These Republican John McCain supporters clearly demonstrated bigotry at its worst.

But isn't it just as strange that no-one mentions the fact that the Bill Cuunningham's outrage about Barack Obama's middle name could have been orchestrated by a McCain Campaign conspiracy along with the momentary apology and perfuse acknowledgements of sorrow for the dispicable outrage by his warm-up man. If it was conspiratorial the apology falls flat, but what better way to get back into the news with terms of endearment from the general public for his swift reaction after a week of bad press?

But what is stranger is that these enlightened people know the meaning and the significance of his middle name (since it resembles the one we invaded Iraq to hang; and since it sounds like one many terrorists have), but they don't know or won't tell you the meaning of his fiirst name. Isn't that strange? What they never studied Hebrew? How gross? How igorant and purile to sound off on one name and not the other? Don't CunninghM nd his Conservatives know that his first name is a Hebrew name found in Torah, which means "Blessed" for anyone who does, thinks, and engages in that which is good? And don't they know that anyone who would spend 20 years working for poor people does qualify as one who lives according to the characteristics of the meaning of his name?

But, alas, the Republicans who are so set on diverting attention from their 12 years of corruption and scandal, and want us to forget that we entered Iraq on a system of lies knowing that the investigators would find nothing, will do and say anything to damage and destroy. And what is worse is that they will do this and claim that its all in the game. The top job on the planet is nothing more than a game for these Republicans to control the money and the way of life , and they want to do away with "government by the people" and "for the people."

So what is fair? If Obama does not get the nomination because of these dirty tricks, I call on the millions in 30 states who voted for him to put out of office every Republican you can. Get rid of them all . . . and that should teach them a lesson. Start the organization against them right now. Vote against every Republican up for re-election, and let them feel the ire of decent Americans. And may God defend the right.

The Clinton Spin is Misleading!

The Clinton Campaign's Manager, Kiki, seems hell-bent on spinning Obama's voting record on Iraq as the same as Hillary Clinton's. This is politics, yes! And this is the one game on the Planet in which the dirty players use a multitude of dirty tricks and misrepresentations.

So to say that Barack Obama voted the same way that Hillary Clinton did on the War in Iraq is to try to deceive the less astute American voter. How can I make this assessment? Because there was no Senator who wanted to leave the young American Soldiers without monetary support or the equipment they needed to save their lives.

Would Senator Clinton deliberately vote "No" to funding the innocent soldiers sent into Iraq by an administration, which seemed unable to think clearly or plan effectively. Would Senator Obama vote "No" to supporting America's soldiers? The answer is a resounding "No!" So why does the media allow themselves to be duped by Kiki and her cohorts and leave this half-truth out there to confuse the public? There was no American who would have deliberately leave our young soldiers in a place where dozens of people and soldiers died every day without ammunition, protection, food or other military material.

Americans need to wake up. They need to demand that the media finish all the quotes and sound-bites, read clearly all the prose, and be honest in the light of such an important event in the history of the world. This demand for honesty is crucial because the bottom line is that, if a candidate would deliberately consent to mislead the people by half-truths and conspiracy in order to get votes, she or he is not fit for the office of President of the United States.

Will Obama Be Safe?

The article with this headline is disturbing; however, only those who know the Prophecy will have the confidence to know that He who defends the "right" is watching his own from behind the scenes.

The first words out of Obama's mouth in Springfield, IL on that chill day more than a year ago was: "Giving honor to God who is the head of my life." To ordinary Americans who say that the idea of a God is ridiculous such a statement is meaningless. But to us who are believers and see that with those words Obama is a "brother" ( a real brother), we know that his safety is assured (Secret Service or no Secret Service).

Obama is only one who stands in a long line of deliverers sent on a mission to deliver the people still held in captivity. Freedom and equality are the watchwords of our nation. The One who designed this country to be a microcosm of Heaven--a place of refuge for all those oppressed by the Devil and wicked men--has raised up another Son of Issachar to carry the torch to alleviate the effects of socio-poltical slavery on ethnic minorities in the United States.

Obama Brings it Just Like He Said!

"He looked Presidential" the pundit said, and another one with an erudite analysis of the debate countered, and He brought just like he promised."

It seems that after the first debate when all the world were amazed at how good Hillary was in the debate, the Obama campaign strategists lamented that he needed to do better in his debates. My man, with the quiet confidence of a man who knows what he knows and who is not easily thrown of guard by "warhawks" or their sycophants, calmly said that he would "bring it" in the fourth quarter. If Manning and the Giants did it, then the milions around the world who watched by satellite, and those in Hawaii who want to send a message to their brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico, saw our future President go long and danced through the red zone.

"Bring it" he did. So much so that the admiration on Hillary's face softened her to describe in truthful tones the plight of our young service men and women. The hand-shake, whether another ploy on the road to March 4th or not, was genuine and "sin cere" (Latin meaning without wax). The smile on her face that was forever etched into history told us that Obama
brought it just like he said.

The Fat Lady Sings: "It's We . . . Not I"

Every night since Super Tuesday I have listened to the pundits on National TV hoping to hear words of wisdom. The CNN contributors that grabbed my attention were John King, David Gergen, and one or two others. However, the discussion on Anderson Cooper's 360 was somewhat interesting. Noone asked me, but here are my thoughts anyway.

I'd like to tell Kelli Goff that the fat lady is clearing her throat and wiping her palms. In her mind she is preparing to burst into song, which will explode into an aria of historical significance; and at the top of the crescendo she will sing: "It's 'We' not 'I' silly!"

From "day one" (Hillary Clinton, Campaign '08), for the pundits who have yet to figure it out, Barack Obama's major theme has been "we are in this together! I cannot do this by myself." In contrast, Senator Clinton has lauded and applauded herself as "ready to lead from day one." "I have 35 years of experience," and "I know what to do!"

While the pundits seemed to like this line about 35 years of experience, they did, and do, Hillary Clinton a disservice. The analysts and experts (so-called) should have told her that the 35 years of experience of doing the same things the same way is a contradiction and an eraser to the "change." How could the experts of such a multi-million dollar campaign miss something so fundamental? Unfortunately for her, the no-so-supposedly-smart voters understood that change is a far cry from experience.

Meanwhile, John McCain, the great-good-ole-boys hope, can trump all the Democrats with a shout of experience, even though that in itself may be open to question. Years as a POW, tortured and villified, and several years of doing the same things over and over and over again does not satisfy the real meaning of the word "experience."

Let me explain further for those in opposition to this revelation. Imagine a teacher who comes into the classroom on the first day of school for the first time and discovers that something works for her and the class that day. She/he continues to do it that way for the rest of the year. Then on year 2, our teacher continues to greet and teach a new class of students the same way she did in year one. At the end of the second year, how would you classify that teacher? Does she have two years of experience, or does she have one year of experience two times? Now imagine that in 24 years she never did anything new or different, but continued to teach in the same way and manner as she did the very first year. Does she have 24 years of experience, or does she have one year of experience multiplied 24 times?

Let's taske this scenario and apply it to a political representative. After serving 6 terms in the Senate, what will the voters of his/her district say? "Will ordinary hard-working voters that have lived throughout the 24 year cycle, battered by inflation and rising taxes, bruised by joblessness and downsizing, crushed beneath the rhetoric of politicians who have not missed a meal and who get automatic raises, agree that that representative who has 24 years of experience should be rehired over someone "new and fresh" with newer ideas and up-to-date methods of governance and negotiation?

You see, my reader, that was why Dr. Martin King was so successful as leader of the Montgomery Improvement Association (MIA) in 1956. He had not been in Montgomery long enough for the city-fathers to put him in their pockets. He was new and fresh and "uncorrupted," which made him a standout and a man that the people could follow. The history of that movement should teach us a lesson now. And besides, Obama is correct. Any politician who took POL 111 should know that "change" comes from the bottom up, not from leaders on the top down. Such was the case with King, and such is what's happening with Obama now.

Barack Obama is new ("unexperienced" by Clinton and McCain's assessment) and fresh. He does have only a few years in the Senate. But that is exactly what the voters see. That is exactly the point that the pundits and political armchair exponents miss. Obama has not been in the U. S. Senate long enough for the fathers to corrupt him, and that is why he leads a movement in which 60-70% of white voters in some states are committed to go to the mat for him.

Yes! The fat lady will sing, and even if the Super delegates go against the explicit wish of so many new millions of adherents, Obama would have opened the door wide for the movement to overun the good-ole-boy network. The dilemma is obvious. Although Hillary has good credentials, she is seen as another member of the good-ole-boy network notwithstanding the gender equation. And what is more, "It's 'we' not 'I' silly."

Those who called themselves "Conservatives" have gone beyond the line of moral turpitude. While they profess to be "righteous" God-fearing people, and the only ones who know how to govern, they continue to deny righteousness, and have gone so far as to hope that the people forget the "wickedness" and return them to power.

Consistently refusing to admit that the invasion of Iraq was based on a lie and for the interests of a few, Republicans have blocked every attempt to uncover the truth. Numerous investigations have been allowed to die, and every attempt to sully the name of God-fearing truth-loving Democrats have been used.

These conservative, compassionate, truth-loving moral Americans, hope that the American people forget about a number of issues, which call into question both the honesty and integrity of the leaders of the Republican Party:

(1) They hope that Americans will forget the scandal of Abramhoff and his Republican cronies.
(2) They hope that the people forget the promise of President Bush to send to jail whoever it was that "outed" Valerie Plame. This he didn't. In fact, the Republicans did just the opposite.
(3) They hope that the people would forget about the missing billions air-marked for the rebuilding of Iraq that just disappeared with no record or accounting. But these are moral people, the only ones in America who are honest and full of integrity.

(4) They hope that the American people will forget that Haliburton (whose headquarters have now been removed from the United States to somewhere near Bahrain) originally over-charged the public treasury by hundreds of millions, and in order to end the scandal they settled out of court and returned just over 1 million dollars in out-of-court settlement. But the truth is that if they were willing to settle at all proves that there was something wrong in the contract and use of public funds.

(5) They hope that a continuing war in Afghanistan will keep Americans so scared that they elect a war hero who is content to prosecute a war for a hundred years rather than work to bring about a "peace" which could last that long. But these are moral people, the only ones who knows what's best for America.

(6) These moral people, by their actions, continue to manipulate the economy and the stock market ( like JP Morgan did during the Great Depression) in order to keep hard-working Americans in "fear" of hunger and starvation. They do this in order to force the election of a President who is supposed to have "more experience" than anyone else. But these intelligent ones fail to recognize that no-one has any experience "as President" except one who has served a first term. Even a Vice-President may have some related experience, but he or she can never claim to have experience being President until s/he has spent at least one day in the office. Nevertheless, pundits will argue that this is only a technicality.

(7) The morality of the Senator John McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee, is such that he deliberately distorts Senator Obama's words about bombing Pakistan in the hope that ignorant Americans will buy that rhetoric without examining the context of those words. But this is the High Road of integrity. This is the morality of these "Compassionate Conservatives" who are the only ones who knows how to "keep Americans safe, propserous, and proud." These are very good words, and if they are original with John McCain (you do the research and tell us what you find) then we are blessed to have such a man as our leader. But since the morality of the Republican Party leads them to insist that they are the only ones with impeccable morality, the question is: "Did John McCain plaigiarize Obama when he said in a very loud voice as he ended his stump speech: "I'm fired up and ready to go." Americans did not hear him cite that he was using the words of Barack Obama. So when he infers that Obama has a "confused" and base morality of "empty words," should he not be speaking about himself as well. But this is the morality of the Republican Party and its sycophants, this is the Party on the "High Road."

Perhaps, those who have Divine connections to the God, who created all men to be equal, should find out if God is behind the phenomenal rise of a reform movement led by Barak Obama. But in their arrogance, they could never imagine such a thing could be happening in America. They not only read the Scriptures, their halls are jammed to capacity with experienced politicians, experienced theologians, plus the blessings of the ruling family. In short, why shouldn't they be arrogant? Everyone knows that the Republicans will reduce spending. And everyone knows that they will not acknowledge that the financial condition of the country was due to the War in Iraq, the Haliburton dishonesty, and the waste of billions of tax-payer dollars. Besides, its the bumbling Democrats. We Republicans have been in total control of Congress for 6 years of the Clinton Administration plus 6 years of Bush 43, but its Democrats who did this in the 1 year they controlled the Senate by one vote plurality. Oh, one of those Democrats was really a Republican in disguise, and the Americans are no astute enough to count Joe Leiberman on the other side.

Republican arrogance is long and deep, and maybe God is tired of it all. Please God, rise up and lead a movement for us poor people, and please Sir, defend that side which is right.

Fidel Resigns But China Rules

For almost 50 years Fidel Castro touted the "Revolucion" in defiance to American arrogance, but today he resigned. The problem with this present-day historical entry is that most Americans are ignorant of the truth about Castro and Cuba in his political standoff with U. S. Political leaders.

The United States of America has maintained a presence in Cuba ever since the invasion in 1898 during the Spanish-American War. In contradiction to the Teller Amendment, after the war, the U. S. Congress passed the Platte Amendment, which contained an article that basically forced the new Cuban Senate to make available as much land as the U.S.A. required for its military bases. The Cubans rejected this plank in its new U.S-sponsored constitution for two years, but wilted under pressure, and in 1901 Guantanamo Bay became a reality. From then until now, the U.S. has never left Cuba. And for fifty years, Cuba was controlled by CIA-backed dictators, the last one being Fulgencio Batista, who for more than twenty-five years acted as a king-maker in Cuba.

The other side of America's control of Cuba and its mainly black and mulatto population was due to the foreign investment of the United Fruit Company and other corporations that before the War of 1898 had more than fifty million dollars invested in Cuba's sugar and tobacco crops.
The inhumane treatment by American companies soon became an irritant to young Cuban Law students of whom Fidel Castro was only one. They organized demonstrations that brought shame to Batista and his circle of friends. Offering some concessions, Batista made a deal with the student to stop their demonstrations, but Fidel and a few others distrusted the deal. They declared themselves rebels, went up into the Sierra Madres, and the "Revolucion" had begun.

During the last twenty years of Batista's dictatorial rule, Havana became the playground for America's nouveau riche, its Congressmen, and members of the mafia. Other West Indian Islands jealously referred to Cuba as the Queen of the West Indians, but they all, having similar problems with the United Fruit Company, watched with bated breath as the common people flocked to Castro's Revolution.

If we fast forward to the ticker-tape parade that Americans gave Fidel as he rode up 8th Avenue in New York City, we also see an ambitious Richard Nixon who, with an insatiable appetite for the White House, spoke into history some of the most damnable words that would design the political stalemate of the century. He told President Eisenhower that Castro, a man who had come to seek aid from the United States, was a communist. This would turn out to be one of his pet labels, but it would also seal Castro's fate, especially since many powerful people in Congress and those with huge investments in Cuba wanted the island back and under their control.

History has recorded that besides the Bay of Pigs, the CIA tried 8 times to assassinate Fidel Castro in order to take it back; and it was sometime after the second attempt that Fidel sought protection from the Soviet Union, the other world power. That was how we got to the Kennedy-Kruschev missile crisis of 1963, and the embargo that was put in place which remains to this day.

Somewhere I read a few years ago that Bush 43 recognized China, the only Communist nation remaining in the world, as the number one trading partner of the United States of America. And since he has been in power, it has been reported that China owns 1.3 trillion dollars of America's Treasury Bills. So, where are we in the history textbooks now? Castro's Revolution, which was to free poor Cubans from the tyranny of U.S. Corporations and the wealthiest Cubans, brought them nothing but grief and a 45 year old embargo maintained by America's war-hawks and continuing political rhetoric of a McCarthy-Nixon type Red Scare.

Meanwhile, the USSR and its communist ideology has dissipated since 1989, the wall is gone and the two Germany's have long re-united. North Korea is in the process of working out a deal with the United States in exchange for nuclear disarmament. China, the last of the Communist countries not only owns much of the United States by reason of its money and loans to U.S.firms, but it also enjoys status as the U.S.A's number one trading partner.

If this was fictional it would make great irony . . . but alas . . . its a diary of the lives of Cuba's poor. In the meanwhile, the sons and grandsons of those well-to-do Cubans who enjoyed percs from Batista and fled the island with their leader to Miami, live under a steady diet of political rhetoric that a Communist dictator took their parents property without reason and gave it to the people of the Revolution. But little do the one milion Cubans in Miami know that a Republican conspiracy has served to keep them isolated all these years for selfish political ends. Just as the Black vote was manipulated to vote for the Republican Party for 60 years before 1932, so the Cuban vote in Miami has been programmed since Ronald Reagan who allowed the Mariel Boat Lift for the same partisan political reason.

Absurdity?: Blacks Voting Republican

The Media continues to ask ill-advised questions and tread just off the line of racial bigotry by the items they see as newsworthy.

The latest is the suggestion aired by CNN that someone said maybe blacks would be better off voting Republican. Absurd and borders on the insane.

Here are historical reasons:

(1) The Radical Republicans did push through the 13th, 14th, and 15 amendments that abolished slavery, made blacks citizens and gave them due process of law and the right to vote. But everyone should know by now that the vote was given not because they loved blacks or were intent on making them equal. The Radical Republicans gave black men the right to vote in order to control the South politically. In other words, they did by an Amendment what the South did by insisting on the 3/5ths clause before they voted for the U.S. Constitution in the first place. Both the South and the North wanted to use the Black vote for their own selfish political purposes.

(2) The new Rupblican Party of the 1930's saw President Herbert Hoover appoint a die-hard racist Judge John J. Parker to the U.S. Supreme Court. At that time, Blacks had been voting Republican solidly to the last man for 60 years The NAACP supported by white labor unions against whom this racist judge always ruled, blocked his nomination and the next congressional year turned out of office all 26 Republican Senators who backed the nomination of Judge John J. Parker. From that time on black people voted for the Democratic Party en masse as revenge. And they vote that way from then until Al Gore's 98%. Bush seduced 17% of them because misguided wealthy Blacks, who had benefited from Affirmative Action, scattered the vote. Even then, John Kerry won almost 90% of the Black Vote.

(3) The Republican Party has openly said many many many times that it is the Party of Corporate America and Big Business. They demonstrate it by defending a high tariff, even from Jefferson's time, and they consistently and continuously pass legislation that keep their coporations in the chips. And they do this by consistently cutting any social program to "reduce public spending"no matter how badly that program is needed.

(4) In twelve years of total control of Congress, they gave themselves a $13,000 plus raise three times and debated for 6 years about raising the minimum wage, finally suggesting that it be raised $1.00 over two years. But the miniute the Demoicrats got a one vote majority, every Republican Senator except the famous 14 stood strong to block every proposal; and by doing this they caused the Media to blame the Democrats and the Democratically-controlled Congress. But any idiot who has a brain to think ought to be able to understand that the blame for Congressional failures during the last year and half must be placed on the backs of the Republicans who backed Bush and would cover for Bush and Cheney even if the nation drowned in degradation.

(5) Forbes Magazine listed the top 100 wealthiest people in the United States in 2006 and stated at that time that 98% of the country's wealth was owned by 2% of the people. Assumning that this is true, it means that 5-6 million people own most of America ( the part not owned by China's 1.6 trillion or Saudi Arabia's 400 billion), and that some 294 million of us are hard- working middle to poor working class folk.

Is there a point to this you ask. A blind man can visualize it. Unless you earn more than $200,000 per year and have your home paid for, there is no way you should be voting for any Republican no matter who s/he may be. And if you are in the middle or poor-working class who earns less than that, you have no choice but to vote with the rest of us for change. For Blacks to vote Republican again . . . it's absurd.

Black Brown Yellow Red Minorities "Our Time Has Come"

Yo creo que espanol es la mas buena lingua todo el mundo, pero necesita practica como lo demas.

As a black high school student I learned spanish at the age of ten, and since that time no hay practica. Nevertheless, suffice it to say that as a professor of U. S. History I find this whole debate, which has been sensationalized by the media, laughable and most unbelievable. The truth is that there has always been more affinity between African Americans and latinos, hispanics, and mexicanos long before the Spanish-American War in 1898. And, just in case someone wants to challenge the interaction between blacks and native Americans they should get a grip and find out all they can about York, the black slave without whom Lewis and Clark may have failed miserably, and the rest would indeed be history as we say.

Baseball players from Cuba played in the Negro Leagues in and around Tampa Florida long before Jackie Robinson was allowed to crash the racial barrier around 1947. And when white miners were harassing Asians and jumping their mining claims, they found some semblance of solace by interacting with blacks and native Anericans. The truth is that the equality in Jefferson's Declaration is just now beginning to show itself politically as the dominant right, with two oil men in the White House, continues to share billions of dollars in oil profits among themselves, while minorities and poor whites struggle for survival.

The so-called Conservative Right has so inflicted hardship on the 295 million poor and middle class of this 300 million population that even those whites who make less than $200,000 per year are feeling the pinch. So what is the point? The point is found in a phrase that resonates in all of Barack Obama's speeches: "Our time has come."

The time for which all minorities (poor whites too) have been waiting for hundreds of years in America has come. The day has dawned upon a smothered and locked-out constituency who have yet to come to an academic definition of politics. For the past 11 years, I taught my university freshmen that a working definition of the word "politics" is "the struggle for who gets what, when, and how." In other words, whoever controls the politics will control how much money or food stamps you get, and how much help you get from the hospitals and clinics. They will determine when you get it, where you have to go to get it, and how high you have to jump to get it. In short, whatever terms or limits the power structure sets that's what you will have to do to get ahead.

And now, the time has come, and with Barack Obama, we minorities get to stand up. We get to make a statement. We get to continue King's non-violent protest and force America to sign the check for the promissory note so long delayed.

I also taught my students that women could win the White House and change this country if they all vote together because there are more women involved in the political process than men. Yes, this is what I taught for 11 years . . . and they bought it . . . and many female students registered long before this contest began. But now, minorities cannot afford to vote for any candidate who may have an alliance with Corporate America. John Edwards had a very good message, but down-trodden minorities, needed something more. We needed a charismatic, passionate, well-educated politician, who could electrify a crowd with a phrase, who could bring together Americans from every corner of the spectrum, but also one who was too new for the Washington city-fathers to have corrupted, and too out-of-the loop for Corporate America and its lobbyists to have under their influence.

The pollsters say Hillary Clinton has the Latino and hispanic vote sewed up. They say, she is the heir apparent because she could get things done with Corporate America. But that's not how I read it over the past 4 months. It would be a mistake to think that Clinton has the vote in the bag. And it would be a bigger mistake to count Obama out. After all, he's leading a movement . . . a movement cut short when J. Edgar Hoover said that he did not want a "nigger" King bringing a million poor black and white people to the White House. The movement has gained momentum with a new leader, and his rallying cry is "Our time has come . . . NOW IS THE TIME AND YES . . . SI SE PUEDE." Hola mi Amigos, mira. Escuchese bien . . . con Obama si se puede . . . si se puede.

The pundits and pollsters still don't get it!
While they proudly proclaim that "race" is the issue in the Democratic race, citing 70% of white votes for Hillary and 82% black votes for Obama, they deliberately fail to dwell on the fact that Obama won in landslide victories in Utah, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Washington with "huge" white votes.Worse yet, in the bluest of blue states, with both Senators (women) proudly supporting the gender of their choice who was the presumptive nominee, Barack Obama racked up the widest of margins in a crushing victory.

In theological parlance, the typology of Jacob's prophecy about Issachar provides evidence for African Americans in this generation. Having come from slavery and progressed to being soldiers in the military, they moved into politics and have emerged with political "understanding of the times" and are the only ones with the answer for the divided nation. Gensis 49:14,15; Judges 5:15; I Chron. 12:32.Obama may not be the one to finally ascend the chair, but he is leading movement, which was started 40 years ago but cut short with the murder of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

In the typological sequence, the Black Leaders are the ones who are disunited in the Biblical prophecy, and whenever they get it together, the movement to heal the nation will prevail.So rather than announce the 14-18% of black votes cast for Hillary Clinton, what the pollsters should concentrate on is the 25-26% and the 68% of the white votes in Washington that clearly sensed the beginning of a new era and a new movement led by Barack Obama. And in case you don't know, his name "Barack" (also spelt "Barak") means "Blessed."

The pundits and pollsters do not get it!
Super Tuesday has come and gone and they all continue to say "We don't know where this is going." But they acknowledge grudgingly two important things: (1) that the people want change; and (2) that Obama is leading a movement. One pollster of great renown paraphrased a line from Vernon Jordan, the Black political heavyweight and personal golf-playing friend of the Clintons: "Obama's leading a movement and you can't win against a movement."What is the origin of this movement? Why is Obama surging? How did Hillary win California? These are questions that experts are asking all across the country this morning.

If we examine the last question first, it should be obvious that the Clinton campaign moved on Californians to vote by absentee ballot after New Hampshire. Banking these votes early provided the 3-400,000 votes that provided the win. After New Hampshire, voters in the West who knew nothing about Barack Obama could easily be led to vote for Clinton the Democratic front-runner for more than a year. But then after South Carolina, the movement coagulated and the Sons of Issachar began to line up according to the Bible Prophecy in I Chronicles 12:32.

The origin of this movement Mr. Jordan is prophesied thousands of years ago. Nevertheless to believe that one must be a reader of Scripture, and a believer in a Creator. The problem is that African American leaders do not know that Scripture prophesied that black voters will win the day because they are the only ones who have "understanding of the times" and know what the nation ought to do. It is the Black political leaders who are hindering the success of a God-given movement, the movement which began 40 years ago with Dr. Martin King, Jr. Whenever, the Black leaders in America get together and agree to make one man the leader, the Sons of Issachar will all line up behind their leaders and bring that event to a final conclusion. The irony of all this is that Issachar always encamped between Zebulon (Hispanics) and Naphtali (Asians) and was always able to influence these two brothers.

While we respect your long-standing friendship Mr. Jordan, and while we respect the fact that Charlie Rangel of New York is forced by reason of his state affiliation to support Hillary, the prophecy says that when these leaders who ought to have a political "understanding of the times" get it right, all the Sons of Issachar who were former slaves, and who fought bravely as soldiers in the nation's wars, will line up behind their brethren and at their command bring the nation together. It may not be Obama, he may just be the opening salvo, but thye prophecy will come to pass. And as he intimated: pollsters or no pollsters, one fact is true, "Our time has come!"
